What's most obnoxious about this is the fact that so many people are buying this bullshit and treating it as though it's actually an attack or statement about women in general. It's like reducing all women as being represented by Amber Heard, a person who shits in a bed, fabricates evidence, lies about making donations to charities and beats their spouse. If women want that kind of representation I think they should reflect on themselves and motives.

Probably because it's mostly less beneficial for men to initiate divorce. Courts tend to not rule in favor of men either in that they don't give beneficial custody agreements and left with child support which may or may not be excessive (it's at risk after divorce has been initiated). It's also a meme that after men get divorced they're likely to end up alone for the rest of their lives (left to commit suicide or be socially isolated).
