Apply for 5 jobs a week and make call backs. Everyone started out with no experience. Call back every week. The worst thing they can say is on. Keep going until you get one. Any construction outfit is probably looking for someone to do job site clean up and if you are motivated, do a good job and can take instructions they likely will teach you how to do the work they are doing.

The government used social security as a slush fund. And then never returned the money there are more children of baby boomers than there are a Baby Boomers in the workforce. So the problem with the solvency of Social Security isn't money going in versus money coming out by the people it's the government stole it and in return it.

Change company or demand the raise. Don't ask demand and if they won't give you the raise go to a different company. It comes down to this the company wants to make as much as possible so they are going to pay you as little as you will accept so you have to make them pay for your work. Basically my current situation as well. We each have our own financial responsibilities. We help each other out from time to time but I have my bills and earnings and she has here's. I make more and work more hours so I pay more and she does more work around the house. We work together. Unlike my previous relationships. Happily together and won't be begging the government for permission to be in the relationship that I choose to be in and without the bs of a divorce if it doesn't work out.

I always made sure there was a payment plan after the ex-wife. I get a payment on a regular basis or I sell it and it stays in my name until paid in full! You have to approach every financial deal like it's a purely business transaction. I was nice and didn't charge interest.
