I just tell them no, I'm their dad. I think this is somewhat generational. The Millennial moms aren't as bad about it. My brother actually had the police called while taking his kids to the park. Poverty and lack of resources means we get a lot of patients who are off their meds, been assaulted, are homeless, desperate, or any combination of those.
