People that argue the Nature side tend to completely disregard any contributions Nurture has on this issue. I agree with the others in this thread. It is a combination of factors. But, in my opinion, those factors DO INCLUDE aspects of nurture. Nurture doesn't cause homosexuality (or heterosexuality or anything else) but it can influence it. Perhaps there is no one answer, that sexual orientation, whether homosexual or heterosexual; gay, straight, lesbian, or bisexual, all are a cause of a complex interaction between environmental, cognitive, and anatomical factors, shaping the individual at an early age.
