I just hopped here from /r/all, used to come around but stopped anyway, it's definitely more regional. The more rural of an area you live in the more stuff like this tends to happen because everyone gets the "small town community" shit going where they think that because its a small town they can poke their heads into everyone's business and everyone else will live it. I know I'm late to this party but this sounds like a great idea. Hear me out, laws in the US are so strict that if you don't specifically have consent you can get shit on, so maybe a reminder to ask "Hey do I have your explicit consent for these sexual acts" will give some defense from false accusations.

It is because the Federal law says rape is penetration so they Government can't call anything not penetration rape, not saying whether that is right or wrong just pointing out that that's why it is put that way.

I agree that on a single person basis the person most harmed by false rape crimes is the accused, but the group of actual victims is harmed as well by the false claims because it makes the individual who is already apprehensive about reporting there assault even more worried that they now have to be scrutinized by the police. TL;DR False claims hurt the real victims of rape as well as the falsely accused.
