The classes they offer here are really short, only 45 minutes twice a week. I wish for more, but alas, it's 45-60 minutes, even accross gyms. The lifting will be in addition, I believe I can make it fit. I'll give it a try, and if it turns out it wrecks me, or just takes too much time, I might have to mody the lifting routine to either go lighter or off on those days. Ideally, I'd like to do both. I have both time and energy in abundance.

Thanks for this, I'm checking it out now. Looks good!

Yep, sound advice. I'm making a private list where I gauge the progress towards the goals. All of these should be to some extent measurable, so I won't get complacent.

Hear hear. It started to gel after reading The Book of Pook actually. Love yourself and all that, and I'd been going at it backwards. I do. And I am. Pussy will come on it's own once I own myself. Thanks man.

This is something that didn't really occur to me before now. Thanks!

Yep, I figure as much. While I'd much rather have someone to go with, I'll need to get cool with going on my own.

Never too late man, never too late! Likewise man, we're all gonna make it brah.

Yep, gonna have to get on that eventually. For the time being, I'm focusing on using this astounding amount of free time I have for something productive. I can mix and match in some hobbies once I get a good flow going, but yes, sound advice. Was thinking of using meetup.com and just going to a bunch of random events to meet people. After all, you never know, gotta put yourself out there.

Thanks for the advice. I already have the lifting and diet semi-down already. As I said, I've been on a linear program for around a year, but the last 6 months I've had some major fuckarounditis. Getting to 3K-3.5K is something I've done for a couple of weeks now, and it's starting to become routine. I'm putting it up there so I know I can't afford to slack on it. If I do, I will go back to Skeleton Mode fast. Forcefeeding myself already, but ech. Gains are worth it. Nice advice on the MMA gym t…

Thanks for the words of wisdom. I've already been through this with the lifting the last year, and I've been able to regularily push myself even though the "comfort" part of my brain says it's okay to stay on the couch. I genuinely want this change, and the comfort-part of my brain can go fuck right off, he doesn't get a vote.

Yes, I'm aware of this. The purpose of writing it down is to solidify it in my mind. Might need to shuffle them about some, but this is goal setting mainly. I'll keep it in mind, thanks!

Yeah, it's gonna be something I want just for me, and screw practical. Already have a car, so this will be purely for recreation.

Right now I have all the free time in the world. Bar The weeks I travel, I have free time coming out my ears. I'll have to adjust the lifting according to the effort MMA takes out of me, but this is the preliminary plan. I want to be busy, as right now I'm not.

Perhaps male contact is one of those things I should definitely start off with. Gonna get on that right now. Thanks man.

What I'm essentially taking away from all this is that I'm actually using texting as a sort of buffer for rejection, due to my scarcity mentality. Looking back, this probably derives from what I've done in the past to get girls: Hunt them down, relentlessly, until they surrender. It seems plausible that this might be the cause of much of my dependence on text, since I actually need to get off my butt and go out and meet them instead. Thanks for typing that one out, a lot of good stuff.

Again, a lot of sense this makes. Methinks most of this is my scarcity mentality doing the thinking.

You don't unlearn good skills, you compartmentalize them to their appropriate need. This actually makes a lot of sense. Might have to learn som patience.

I'm working an "as required" job. Some days I go 20+ hours on clock, some days I have time to fondle my tits for 8 hours with fuck all to do, depending on what costumers decide to break. Might also be a concentration problem, which is something I've struggled with in the past.
/r/askTRP24/11/14 12:49 AM

Yeah, that seems to be the problem here. I tried waiting three days, there will be never more than one message if I don't reply. So I might as well drop her methinks. Without texting I can't stay relevant, and since she has an iron rule of never sending more than one, this will probably go nowhere.

Bitches i chased or was available to were always luke warm. I think that's the crux of the issue. I'm a compulsive multitasker, and I'm really good at it. I can work, write poetry, shit and text at the same time while still having energy left over. I'm used to answering all hails immediately lest they build up on me over time, so the approach of "wait 12-24 hours before replying" sort of irks me. It's just not how I've learned to communicate, and I think I might have to unlearn that if I want th…

The conversation isn't really inane. We have a lot in common and are in the same fields, and I've always been good at keeping texts playful and fun without going full sperg. Plus, last 4 girls I've been with I have scored almost purely by being coy and mystical over texts with, so it seems sort of counterintuitive to me to abandon a game that has traditionally been my strong suit.

This is sort of what my gut instinct is telling me. If we're having a good conversation about stuff, with none of it bordering on insipid or inane, my gut tells me that is good. And there seems to be a difference to how you handle say, an average ditzy clubrat to how you handle a chick in a STEM field. But then again, AWALT. They're all motivated by the same basic hypergamy, so the approach ought to be the same. Plus, I stayed AFC for 30 years listening to my gut, so we're currently sleeping in …

In fact, many 16 year old girls are as mature as they ever will be - as mature as many 25 year old women. And so, it should not be criminal for a male of any engage to participate in sexual relations with such a woman. "Many" I find hard to believe. "Some" are, true, but there's a world of difference between 18 and 25 for the majority of girls (and boys as well). As for criminal, no, I concur. What is wise to do, however, are not goverened by laws, and should not be. If you feel you can take the…

What kind of rose whould you rather look at? The one who has just bloomed, fresh out of rosebud, or the one who's starting to wilt? Females in that age bracket are sexually attractive to most males. However, there's a point where "responsible adult" HAS to kick in. These teens are not fair game for people in the 20+ bracket, period. They're not as mature as you are, no matter how they look or act, hence your appreciation of them stopping at looking. Anything beyond is off-limits, hell, even 18-1…

Greed is one of the few things that drive humans to further extents than sexuality and hunger. She stood to gain from doing it, hence she did.

I heard you're getting retroactively revocable consent over on your side of the pond (think it started in Canada), so you don't really need to have consent withdrawn pre-sex at all anymore, they can just do it 2-3 months later. /s

Sometimes you'll find an honest politician too. But those kinds of people always get cannibalized and eaten raw by their own kind long before they can do any actual good.

Sad fact: I'd link this to people, but I link too many MR articles as it is. "Why do YOU worry so much? Are you a pedophile yourself maybe? HMM?"

But do we know that these things cause ADHD? Sure, we can argue if our environs and what we use in our daily lives are dangerous or not, which they probably are, but that's not the issue here. What he did was just blurt out everything he's heard about and seem to blame everything that's wrong on that.

At this point I'm inclined to just have them legalize pot, if you guys whould shut up about it, forever. There's always one druggie in every damned thread who finds some way to slip in "legalize my drug". But bleh, just legalize it, I'll go armed on the streets insted, if you'd only to stop the blabbering :p

Ah, statistics. Misused, misread and misquoted since the beginning of time. This is a classic case of "head in oven, feet in freezer, nice mean temperature" really. If you compare men and women in the same fields, with the same experience, from the same year, I wonder if the gap won't just fall within the statistic uncertainty of the poll itself. Long been suspecting this, nice to have som data to back that up.

While it's certainly not furthering any legal debates, this post brings up a few good talking post for discussions in RL (Doing it in /r/mensrights is like preaching to a choir).
