That's not the issue. He's basically saying we need to understand what made someone the way they are to help them, but prisons are also here remove dangerous people from our communities. I'm not taking drug offenders, I'm talking murderous psychopaths, serial rapists, etc. There is no fixing these people and people like you don't really understand the system, but love to pretend your enlightened view matters.

You think prisoners don't report false rapes ALL THE TIME in an effort at manipulating custody levels and sending innocent people to the hole? Dude. You don't know WTF you're talking about. I literally commented on a guy saying that a rapist GUARANTEED gets raped in prison and then all you idiots come out of the woodwork with ZERO knowledge or experience in this area.

The other stats, which already paint a bleak image for the common occurrence of prison rape, should additionally be scrutinized with this in mind. Want to try formulating a sentence this time, kiddo?

As a dude who got a girl I loved pregnant, only to have her leave me for an ex mid-pregnancy, I can't tell you how real this is. She uses her "rights" of birth as blackmail to get me to do whatever she wants. Doesn't matter that I'm solid, successful, and actually work as a counselor....the state says she can monopolize the time with my son for the rest of his life. I'm actually suing to be on the birth certificate and to have my last name attached to him....when I'm the fucking father.
