I think the primary thing that's missing in most these debates is the fact the west is very big. Most of the discussion (to my limited view) is happening in America, but I'm positive there is spill over to the rest of the English speaking world. There are many subcultures, classes, and social circles in America alone, and more in every nation. In this vast sea of bodies, I'm sure a man has lived out every warning incels have issued about women, and countless women have been oppressed into abusiv…

I think to add to this, a lot of people do background math when it comes to society. While they won't publicly talk about it, it does effect them when it comes to equality. Equality means a lot of men are going to be out competed by women, they are going to have women in charge of them at work, they have to listen to women. I think a lot of these men simply weren't ready for that. To expand further, adding women to the workforce did subtract from men socially both as an inevitably and because of…

Look, we've had this conversion before, Women aren't a monolith and no singular action of any woman represents any other woman, while every man is responsible for every other man and their actions. What's so hard to get?

Admittedly, I'm more of a "deviated" individual than most, but never the less. 1) I wouldn't say sex is necessarily degrading, which is not to say my opninon of a person doesn't change based off who they choose to sleep with, but personally degradation, the ideas, themes, language of it, is what makes sex more interesting. Why? I'm probably fucked in the head. 2) Yes. Even in cases of femdom where a male partner is completely restrained and the woman is entirely in power, once she's penetrated (…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 05:54 AM

The femcels comparison isn't apt. Femcels are comparable to incels as the choice wasn't made for them. This is a voluntary abstinence.

Based on what? Women no longer have the legal or societal restraints they once did. The fact there is a movement of men trying to reintroduce them proves we've removed them as a society. They're living in a system that is entirely built, maintained, progressed, and defended by men, where all the dirty, difficult, dangerous jobs are done by men, without providing any value in return collectively We're all living in a system where we live off each others labor. You don't want those jobs? Don't com…

You're the one who chooses that value, it only has value because people give it value.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 08:20 PM

Across many nations, cultures and time periods, people have come to the same philosophical conclusion: desire and caring about something causes pain, especially the unachievable. While I don't think men should give up on everything, it's been shown that holding onto something that isn't working out or is actively hurting you causes more problems than solutions. A good counter example is women, who when asked why they are happier single point out how well they have built up their social circles t…

Sometimes you can't get what you want, and that's ok. Recognizing and accepting it is the first step for finding something else to make you happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 08:10 PM

Is it though? Do men really want to be caught up in a system where women are only with them out of obligation and they become a status in society? Men would be happier not caring about or trying to measure stuff based off women.

Allow me to clarify. There seems to be the false dichotomy of "either return to patriarchal systems or accept women's rules." I offer decentering women not as an option to achieve patriarchy but to side step the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 08:07 PM
10

Not the person you're replying to, but he's probably trying to imply that men centering women is the problem. At best men could oppress women for relationships, but we've collectively moved on from that and I doubt few would return. The problem here is men focus on putting women as the central component to their happinesses and all of this debate is how to get women to be happy. Men can, and should, side step the problem entirely by not centering their lives around women. By instead focusing on …

That doesn't force attraction, it just forces women to be with men they aren't attracted to. It's best for men to stop chasing women and just be happy.

I think Universe 25 is the worst outcome of the modern world and current dating market. While I do think men have a lot to gain from decentering women and the pursuit of sex from their lives, they need to replace this socialization with male focused communities. Locking yourself away from the world is a proven path to misery.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:16 AM

I think it's from a position of cultural frustration. Men are taught that relationships are the ultimate happiness, outside achievement and recognition. Sex and a relationship is what validates a man in the eyes of other men and society. So when women wholesale reject men, to these men women are taking away the men's chance to be validated and happy. The best solution for men is to find ways of happiness and validation outside of women.

For most incels, and I'd argue most men, the only move that truly gives them power in this dynamic and avoids the rejection juggle is for them to just move on, focus on male freind groups, hobbies, and work. The best thing a man can do is build himself as the person he wants to be and stop trying so hard. If it happens it happens.

People who care about race preservation tend to see it as something passed down through the male. As in women who have relationships outside their race are "conquered" and have their partner's race placed on their children... At least till the child is grown in which case it either passes for the father's race or it doesn't. These peope would be less concerned about female only immigration because they would see it as an opportunity to spread their race rather than diminish it.

Both can be true. Are most men really shitty at being open to discussion on sex and implementing said discussion? Yes. Can women be hard to please in bed because of their own personal feelings and body? Also yes. There have been plenty of women who have talked about how hard it is for them to orgasm, take the statistic of "10% of women never have had an orgasm their lives" means they also haven't been able to make themselves orgasm. Human sexuality is weird and hard, communication is the bare mi…

While woman's romance novels are filled with descriptions of benevolently dangerous men who take the lead, we hardly see any trope inversion happening with love interests who are women written by men in the media. I feel like we fo see that from Japanese Manga and hentai. Not stores where the main couple is a power couple that are equally powerful, (thoughthose do exist) but ones where the male is significantly weaker then the female, either physically, in skill, social power, or all of them. What is a better offer than feminism? Surely, if you think its so awful, you have an idea of what would be better. Fucking no. You can criticise something without offering up an alternative. If you order food and rightfully call it shit, the chef saying "well I suppose you could make something better!?" Doesn't make the food not shit anymore. You can criticise feminism without having a better alternative.

From what I've seen of TRP, the main idea is avoid women and be the best you can when interacting with them. How is that not a good philosophy?

The art you create in most cases will be representing many people. No, it can represent many things. Maybe it's in a book and black people are portrayed as bad, not to represent black people as bad but to because the narrator is unreliable and the whole book is about changing his world view. This bullshit excuse of "you need to think about how other communities feel about your art" is tired and old. Let people create what they want, artists shouldn't be restrained by this moral grand standing of…

I can't see why either is a big deal. Why can't an artist express their sexual feelings through their art if a woman can express her sexual feelings through herself?

A fictional character does not make their own choices; their creator makes their choices. So the question is not, “should we respect the character’s choice?” but rather “what messages is the creator sending by choosing to represent the character in this way?” Creating a sexy fictional character who is introspective and has character arcs/moments that actively discuss what the sexiness means to that character can be good if it’s done realistically, but this is a high-skill maneuver which should n…

I don't think that's an apt comparison. In both cases of the worker, he gets his job to make money, to make shoes, and with the understanding that the shoe will be sold. In the women's first scenario, she creates digital art and posts it as she sees fit, for her own gratification. The issue being it's not a limited quantity that can lose value like the shoe. Her image can be reposted without her knowledge or consent. This is important in the difference between physical and digital goods. Digital…

Just from the point if view of someone from the outside who doesn't know much, wouldn't the deep/dark web ideally need to be a bit more regulated than the surface web since it is untraceable? Idk. No, that's the entire point. TOR was built as an overly network on top of the regular internet. The idea being a data packet's origin and destination can not be determined by a midpoint, like an ISP of government. This allows US agents to securely send into over the internet. One problem, you can easil…

By physical porn I mean porn produced by real people, not drawings or 3d models. You know, the kind of porn that's full of abuse and treats real women horribly, that kind of porn.

They have taken down unverified videos because of social pressure to eliminate the possibility of spreading rape footage. No, they've taken down videos published by unverified accounts. So videos produced by companies where the girls get hurt? Ok. Videos produced by amateur couples who want to be kinky? Gone. Hell massive swaths of animated porn, porn produced where no one is physically hurt for a shot, are gone. This pushes people back to the physical porn. This is not a good thing.

I hate it because it essentially describes women as emotionally arrested, selfish, idiots. I mean, if you view all of humanity (or at least those in modern society) as all that, isn't it equal hatred twords everyone?

In the standard dynamic men ask so they get an element of gatekeeping there; you can't start a relationship with no-one to initiate the yes/no process. Wouldn't that mean that men are also tbe gatekeepers of sex? I get what you're going for but that's not what gatekeeping is. Think of it like an actual gate, the gate keeper is never the one to initiate, they simply open the gate or turn people away.

Haven't men always had this though? Men have always been valued for working hard, competing, gaining fulfillment through career, gaining status through $$ accumulation and position. "Everything in life is about sex, except sex, that's about power." Except for actual hobbies you're interested in all of that stuff is just to get money and to attract a mate. It gets even worse for men who find a partner, that wants them to abandon their hobbies, one of the few passionate outlets they have. Men are …

Alright my comment obviously wasn't good enough, let's try this again. It's a defensive mechanism against being constantly told you're sexually inferior to someone else because of skin color. It has nothing to do with ownership of women or hatred of blacks, but it can make it easier to buy into those ideas.

Alright, this is going to be embarrassing. When I was a teen (literally 2-3 years ago) i was obviously still developing sexually. Enter the internet. Poke your head around the internet and you'll find things that naturally make you uncomfortable. Mine was cuckolding and race play. Obviously if these are your kinks I'm not going to nor can i stop you from enjoying them, I'm just going to feel angry and disgusted when I hear they're your kinks. I didn't and still don't hate mixed race couples, but…

I mean, that sounds like self-devaluing and low self-esteem on their parts. Do you really think so little of yourself that you can't imagine your girlfriend just...wants you? Yes, people who say this constantly compare themselves to other guys. They feel that they have weaker genes and few redeeming attributes. Insted they have a girlfriend not for who they are, because to them she doesn't care, it's because they have money.

I'm confused on how this article proves you right, first off it's not a primary source, it could almost be considered a third source. Your article is quoting Paul Dolan as he interprets data from the American Time Use Survey data. For example, Men benefited from marriage because they “calmed down”, he said. “You take less risks, you earn more money at work, and you live a little longer. She, on the other hand, has to put up with that, and dies sooner than if she never married. The healthiest and…

Learning game isn't "natural" so it leads to lower quality offspring. I'm going to have to disagree, i understand why it might be perceived that way but it shouldn't be. If a man has the ability to study a social setting and adjust accordingly it just shows their intelligence. Men will do it subconsciously of consciously, and soing it consciously shouldn't be frowned upon.

I think it's less of, "I'm not attracted to beta males" and more of "I'm not attracted to him because his a beta males" Alpha's have traits that a generally more desirable to women where as betas generally lack those traits.

Ok, so to a guy then, he looks at the phrase "sex means nothing" and thinks "oh this isn't emotional" and then wounders what other parts of the relationship are only one sided in emotions, this will obviously take a big hit. If sex has no intimacy to you what else could he think has intimacy but really doesn't. They're also go to compare themselves to your past partnerships and think "she probably equates me to that one night stand or thinks he was better"
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/19 04:01 PM

Ok, so if a guy who values sex sees what you've slept with don't you think they'd rank themselves with them and think "ok, this why what i am to her, or at worse they're better thsn me"

Ok so, there's a guy at the party, you obviously would never date him, he's a complete ass, but I'll fuck him. Why do some people value sex so little that you'll fuck a someone that you'd never emotionally touch with a ten foot pole? If you wouldn't trust them emotionally why trust them sexually?
