| 1 | Double standardsThere is definitely some variance but generally if you for example maintain at 2k calories per day, someone of the same height/weight/gender/activity level will maintain around 1.8k-2.2k barring any health issues. So yeah maybe you have a higher metabolism than most your size but only a few hundred calories difference max. It’s not even about laziness either it’s the diet, can’t outrun a fucked up diet so people just need to work out their maintenance calories and not go too over the top.
