I never made enough money or was tall enough to attract a woman stable enough to marry. The ones I dated cheated, or were immature and/or bipolar. (I was immature also,) but I never dated one that I trusted enough to marry or have children with.

It's gender bias, women are "supposed" to be better at customer service job. Apply for construction or truck driving and the odds might just reverse on your experiment. Gender expectations are deeply ingrained in culture.

Of the Asian women at work, most seem to have a can do attitude, and get the job done. I know one that is always mad at management, but most are great workers and lead by example.

The thing that bothers me is the constant societal pressure to be tough or strong. It's like you can never just be yourself. Family, friends, coworkers, complete strangers pressure us to be strong constantly.

He wasn't true a Alpha. He was a smart Beta, that managed to fanagle-master his industry. Can happen in a "civilized," risk-adverse, or highly rule-driven idustry. Finance? Accounting? Logistics? Software developer?
