| 12 | Has anyone else noticed a general hostility towards men on the autism spectrum within leftist spaces? There’s a larger philosophical point that you’re missing, and it’s important. One of the hallmarks of autism is rules-oriented thinking. Back in the before times, when the world didn’t force everyone to define ourselves in therapeutic terms, high-functioning autists in particular weren’t labeled as having a brain dysfunction. There’s a theory (which I don’t happen to subscribe to, and I am autistic, but it’s useful in this context) that says autism is just an extreme version of “thinking like a … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 21/07/21 09:45 AM |
| 6 | Feminist rhetorical tactics. Then don't argue with them. There's no point debating someone who's that intellectually dishonest. You aren't going to convince them of anything, and any witnesses who haven't already made up their minds are going to judge you primarily on your tone and the dignity with which you comport yourself. Be reasonable and mild and don't be drawn in. | 17 | Feminist rhetorical tactics. The best way to deal with people who play word games is to insist (politely) that they define every word or phrase that might have more than one meaning the moment they use it. You're observing the women you want and the men you envy.I think he’s saying that most men’s sample size is too small. They’re treating a small group of women with obvious similarities as representative of the whole group. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/01/21 01:33 AM |
| 2 | Chatless online datingEffort is key. I find that texting and video chatting for a few days almost always gets me a date with the woman I’m pursuing. If you’re interested in someone, why not put in the time? Even if you’re just looking for sex, men have to think on a longer timescale than instant gratification—women need to feel safe and they need to feel valued if you want them to want to sleep with you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/09/20 11:20 AM |
| 2 | Is the most important factor for getting women actually money?I’m a man in my 40s. I was very sick for about three years—I had to go on disability at one point, and they give you a pathetic amount of money on disability. I dated a physique model for a year during that time, and I’m now, having come out of my illness quite recently and not yet gotten my freelance career completely back on track, dating a conventionally beautiful 25-year-old. For the moment, I’m quite poor, and I exclusively date smokin’-hot women. Money really isn’t everything. In both case… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/09/20 10:55 AM |
