Same. Agree 100%. Sorry to those that don’t get it. My daughters have told me they feel lucky/happy that I’m a part of their lives. Many of their friend’s dads aren’t in their lives.

I was threatened with contempt for being out of service during a vacation with my ex. A GAL basically said only when the children wanted to call, but I agreed to two times a week for 30 minutes around 7:30 pm, unless out of service or busy. I tried to be reasonable hoping for her to have some give and take. I gave. She took. Lol.

Mine was the same. It actually helps, in my opinion. They have a history of working with each other and that can speed up any sort of mediation or divorce agreement.
