I'm saying that incels and similar types of online men aren't significant enough to make a difference politically. I know they're used as an easy group for people to make points with or attack in political discussions but there were other reasons for those voter shifts
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:43 AM

They do. It's not making them vote for Trump
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:06 AM

Absolutely. Not because a big portion of men who decided not to support feminism because they get nothing from it and let loneliness and lack of dating experience guide them
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:40 AM

I promise you that men deciding to not support feminism because of this way of thinking are irrelevant politically.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:36 AM

Most men don't think this way at all. They women's rights without being feminists and have other views alongside this. Additionally not caring about women's rights at all because of lonelineless / lack of sex is insane
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:15 AM
18

What? Most men hold themselves to basic moral standards already. And there is no male community anyway. You can't speak for or over another group of men just because you want to. Nor does some crimes committed by others matter to you
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 04:43 PM

the fearmongering is insane but I don't think most women IRL are as over the top and ridiculous as women online. The crazy statements regarding safety and danger are typically online things. Although I think a lot of the hysterics have to do with blocking out all discussion of violence and danger that men face.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 05:25 PM

Bias and prejudice or hatred of someone for their innate traits is always bad yes. Regardless ultimately women aren't hurting themselves like you imply by being cautious and most men if out alone late a night will hopefully perceive others as a potential threat regardless of race
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 04:13 PM

Your made up examples of the two different types of guy and how they treat women are funny I guess. Otherwise this displays a total lack of understanding of how people get into abusive relationships and how hard they are to leave
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 06:59 PM

That's great for him. How is that relevant to how he was marketed by the democratic party when he was chosen as Harris' VP specifically to appeal to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 04:46 PM

This thread isn't about dating or attracting women. Walz is like the most progressive focus group of liberal women trying to come up with a guy to appeal to men. Since they don't understand men at all they come up with the ways they tried to appeal to men
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 04:37 PM

Yeah it's bizarre. They seem to be obsessed with the idea that men are voting Trump because it's manly. So they have to act like it's moreso to vote Harris
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 04:08 PM

Walz is literally what a group of women think men will support. He's appealing to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 03:48 PM

Most women in real life if you tried talking to them, aren't like this. They talk about looks and emotional attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 06:50 AM
5

Every man I've met who understood how to hang out with other guys. It's not some mystical thing people need to be taught. Dinners and manipedis probably aren't the solution though
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 03:06 AM
12

That's a great theory for a paper. Not very relevant to the real world. I know men aren't crying on request or seeing ten different therapists but men are capable of understanding their emotions and talking about them. I've met a lot of people who attempted suicide and not one did it because society wouldn't let them be emotional or whatever
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 02:48 AM
16

The terminally online men talking about this stuff constantly don't have people to meet up with IRL. Social events open to all don't count either usually for some reason
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 02:38 AM
5

I'm genuinely lost now. Are we now acting like men not wanting to go to a "dinner for single men" means they don't want to be around other men socially or that they don't know how to socialize compared to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 02:33 AM
20

Norah Vincent has been a gotcha for like 10 years at this point lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:01 AM
36

I swear I've been hearing about Norah Vincent and suicide rates for a decade at this point. Most guys committing suicide aren't doing it because of no gf
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 12:59 AM

Humans are irrational
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 01:21 AM
2

You really owned those hypocritical red pillers!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 11:02 PM

I don't understand how you reach the point where you make a post like this unironically
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 06:06 PM
16

I will never get why people are so against the idea of getting hobbies for men. Yes it may not get you laid but socializing and doing new productive things is always healthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:45 PM
14

What an insane scenario lol. Anyway if you want to learn social skills, socialize. That's the only solution sadly for these guys. You aren't gonna find some magic method sitting online all day by yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 04:31 PM
1

This should be good
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 03:26 PM
36

Haha holy shit what a comparison. What is this supposed to prove? It's just going to make people ignore what men struggling have to say
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 05:46 AM

I'd assume this was a woman pretending to be a man for ragebait if I didn't know this subreddit
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 04:38 AM
39

Men definitely get manipulated by women quite a bit. Your example is bizarre though
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/24 08:19 AM

I don't even know what to say about this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 06:54 PM

Sounds like a pretty lame club. Not sure why you are using it as a representative of GenZ as a whole though.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 05:36 PM

I think most people women and men would find this weird
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/24 10:15 PM
8

The most terminally online take I've seen
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 08:44 AM
-6

Trump getting elected has nothing to do with women's rights. Men aren't voting in ways that harm women over helping themselves. The abortion stuff is up to the states and not worth discussing as we both know it's not about men attacking women
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 08:40 AM
13

If I didn't know the userbase of this subreddit I'd assume it was someone deliberately trying to make men's advocates look bad. Unfortunately on this sub I can't be sure it's a troll
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 08:37 AM
18

I'm not sure the world always cares about women's issues either. But this method is absolutely the worst way to go about things and would just foster more hostility
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 08:30 AM
15

Most men's issues have nothing to do with rights at all. And working to attack women's rights makes no sense at all, either as a bargaining tool or a way to raise awareness of men's struggles. Men and women work against men and discredit their struggles. It's extremely common. I'm not sure what you're idea coming true would solve regarding men being told what they're lived experiences are and never listened to or empathized with
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 08:26 AM

No one thinks about the people they know and women they're interested in IRL this way. I can't even follow the gotcha attempt but yeah low body count is important to a lot of guys, that doesn't automatically define every aspect of the woman
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 11:58 PM

Obviously men don't lack empathy. The "empathy" men are supposed to have is men prioritizing everyone else over themselves even if it causes them harm
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 04:47 PM

The vast majority of men on this subreddit have literally no idea of what reality is or how men and women interact. This post is totally detached from what actually goes on ir
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 04:00 PM

Even for a bait thread this is a little too out there. I mean come on
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 01:22 AM
44

Another post with no basis in reality. Whether women are or are not more violent than men as a whole doesn't matter. And TikTok or some daytime TV show is really evidence?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 05:54 PM
9

Going solely off how you describe the two options, with no other info at all? These thought exercises are weird because people IRL aren't bundles of traits put together. I guess I'd go the younger one with more career potential
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 04:30 PM
23

Beyond terminallly online post
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 03:56 PM
27

First of all this terminally online shit should not be impacting your real personal life. You can still befriend women. Secondly living your life based around women is crazy in general. You are the most important person in your life, and god know women don't care about men's feelings or what makes them feel safe
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 07:37 PM

The post seems like obvious bait, if it's not my bad. Women seem to love telling men how to feel about things, but you don't understand anything about men at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 05:44 PM
20

This has to be a troll post. No way man...
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 04:51 PM
5

Then the male userbase here is even worse off than I thought. Basing your life philosophy on a porn novel is crazy. The bad boy thing is also older than the internet anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 04:08 PM
4

Who said that? I certainly didn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 04:07 PM
20

Who's using 50 shades as proof of women liking "bad boys" (cringe term btw)? Life is proof enough of that/
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 04:00 PM
26

The origins of RP is a way of understanding and approaching dating and relationships. Where is the idea that the goal is to help men as group or whatever come from
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/24 10:50 PM

They are weirdo creeps obviously. OP's post is about men using lust as an excuse to hate women or not take blame for their actions. I'm asking how these guys looking from a distance is relevant to the OP
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 06:25 AM

Again, so what? Do you think guys finding teens attractive from a distance means anything?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 06:10 AM

What?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 06:08 AM

It was never considered normal and jailbait is still a thing. What's your point? Some dudes finding teens attractive from a distance?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 06:08 AM

Usually the "Men aren't owed X" line is pulled out in situations like this. Just to attack the guy talking and ignore them
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 06:06 AM

Men weirdly think that even 15 year old children are "manipulating" them. Who thinks that? Certainly not the average man. Maybe a guy trying to beat a statuatory case. Ehh, I don't think women use their sexuality to manipulate men even half as much as men themselves think Sure. Men certainly don't do the crap women say they do as often as claimed either.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 06:04 AM

Another genius breakdown of how men work given by a woman. Remind me again how much responsibility and blame for their own choices women accept? For stuff that is actually completely their choice and fault. Not things that are in fact nuanced like sending money to camgirls. Women do in fact exist and have agency and do actually use their sexuality often for their own purposes. Guys generally aren't acting like they didn't decided to sleep with who they do or whatever other choice they made. Cert…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 05:33 AM
16

Oh man if you actually think this shit is remotely comparable in toxicity to what other women do I don't know what to say. Using mean words makes American women more toxic than everyone else?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/24 09:10 PM
12

I'd love to know who's saying all those things. I hear so much about how men want this certain ideal of a woman but I never hear men themselves express those thoughts.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/24 03:25 PM
9

Passport bros are barely a thing in reality. It's an online talking point
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/24 03:02 PM
0

Typically the people being attacked are more vocal in defending themselves. Woman dating younger men have no need to talk about it, no one cares about them doing so. Also talking about the subject online doesn't mean they're "obsessed" with younger women or dating teenagers.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/24 02:43 PM

Why don't you talk to a therapist instead of demanding all these men make sure their language doesn't make you feel any type of negative emotion? Seems more effective. Especially if you actually believe online rhetoric
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 12:22 AM

The guys here and elsewhere talking so much shit are just coping. Most of the guys on reddit, twitter, and so on talking about women's behavior and looks have no experience with women. Redpillers are pretty irrelevant to real life and most of the stuff they do talk online is just that, talk
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 12:00 AM
11

Which ones specifically? Statistics are easy to manipulate especially when you define what the statistics are. I certainly agree kids are accessing it to soon, the other stuff not so much
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/24 10:06 PM
5

Not sure why I read the whole post since social science fields are jokes with no relation to actual reality. I think porn is an area where they are particularly insane. But anything men do pretty much has a ridiculous "Academic" reasoning. Outside of extreme outliers, no one thinks porn is how sex really is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/24 09:52 PM
3

I wasn't aware we were basing how men as a whole feel on the losers on this sub. Also fun fact, you can be afraid of rejection but also have other, more serious things you're afraid of too
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 11:13 PM
0

That's certainly one fear. Who said anything about mysterious? Women just don't get to tell us how we feel. Nor can they tell us what our own experiences and what we've gone through as men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 11:08 PM
4

That quote is a hit with the girlies every time. Sadly women don't get to decide what men are afraid of, no matter how much you try
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 11:02 PM

You can't seriously be trying to use women's entertainment and media products as a gotcha right?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 09:50 PM
3

It is unusual to do that to go grocery shopping yes. Guys going on a date, or to a party, or whatever social thing will dress well, groom facial hair, etc...
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 09:32 PM
3

So you're basing your opinion off random men you see outside your house and what you think of their style? Most men go light for day to day chores, you won't see high effort there. And this porn addiction idea has to stop. The amount of people actually addicted is miniscule compared to how much the accusation is thrown around. It's a nonfactor for most men struggling with dating
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 09:29 PM
18

I've heard this crap before. It's nothing new. Look I think most of the narratives around dating from men's side are overblown or ridiculous. However just blaming men for everything is pretty much all they ever get in return. I mean you think porn addiction (probably the most overstated thing in the world right now) is the reason guys aren't dating? You think most men IRL don't put in effort appearance-wise?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 07:51 PM
2

There aren't ways to straight up define and give examples of these things. Ideally you'd have the life experience to know what they mean already.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 02:27 AM
4

Why your using this proof statement I'm not sure. This is blatantly false. The only way I can imagine thinking it's true is if I had no experience with mixed gender socializing in groups
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 01:46 AM
2

Or talk to women you trust in real life. Not bitter online ones who believe false narratives and ragebait made by other women and believe that men should live their lives around what women decide is best
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 12:36 AM

That’s the thing, if people chose not to go the clubs or do activities 20 years ago, then those things probably don’t even exist anymore today. I mean what more can be said here. This constant acting like nothing exists anymore because you have to actual go out of your way to do it is crazy. Sure, no third places exist anymore. How convenient.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 11:47 PM

The US was still car reliant 50 years ago. Participation in rec leagues, clubs, social activities have all declined in the last few decades People are choosing not to utilize the social activities available then complaining that they don't exist. Men aren’t approaching women at the same rates they were 10+ years ago. They are probably cold approaching less And most relationships today start on the apps. Supposedly, sociology studies and statistics are not very reliable though
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 11:33 PM

This "Third Spaces" idea just came out of nowhere into everyone's vocabulary a couple months ago huh. There are still tons of opportunities to meet new people and socialize, alternatives are just easier to access with stuff like the internet so you aren't forced to do so anymore. If it was 1970 you'd still have to go out to meet people and talk to women. Men are still approaching women, this fear of asking people out or striking up a conversation with girls is mostly an online thing. Tinder or B…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 11:21 PM
10

Stop generalizing all men based on how you think.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:50 PM
11

Yeah I mean it's not always a red flag but it raises some warning signs for sure. Most people still have friends. The group online that posts constantly about being lonely and that all men experience what they do are a small minority
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:22 PM
2

Man this is crazy. Like I can't even fathom thinking about life this way and I spent like 5 years on various incel forums.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 05:31 AM
3

Damn so why'd all the guys in those situations before incel culture became somewhat mainstream end up like that?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:57 AM
10

The guys you're describing are barely even a percentage of the men settling. The guy you describe is really not that common IRL, but a lot of men IRL settle
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:42 AM
3

I guess so, I just can't imagine caring. But I spend most of my time offline and it's been years since I regularly browsed manosphere or incel stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:24 AM
5

That's fair. Ultimately who cares though? It doesn't affect you at all. And the amount of woman looking for a totally traditional lifestyle are mostly in religious communities anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:18 AM
10

The vast majority of men don't want to marry a virgin or don't care. It's a fine standard to have if he does. I think people have a problem when they go online and make sure everyone knows it and talk about it constantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:15 AM

I swear the shit I read online about dating makes me think these guys have never spoken to a women IRL before in my life. Men don't decide what women's standards for men should be, and vice versa
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 04:12 AM
1

I've seen it on subs like relationship_advice or aitah and such. But it's hardly a common topic and response is usually less people freaking out and more them attacking the man, which makes sense since those subs are mostly female users
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 03:52 AM
0

I didn't say anything about agreeing with the manosphere, I certainly don't on almost anything. The fact you think this attitude is a manosphere thing and not something that's existed forever and seem to find it impossible to understand how other men think makes me wonder.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 05:43 PM
-1

No one is saying that the only trustworthy man is themselves outside of some male feminists. Are you sure you're a man like your flair says? You don't seem to understand how any think. The thing about letting your GF / BF have opposite gender friends is not a new debate. Nor is it only redpillers that want their partner to not have any. You're looking at one of the most common insecurities of all time as this new hypocrisy
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 05:39 PM
0

I've never seen the two things you're talking about held by the same person. One seems to be boomer dad reasoning and the other is young guys online. Also protecting your children while they begin dating or acknowledging that a guy may have ulterior motives is different than what gets complained about. The problem is when women accuse all men of being rapists or abusers and things like that
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 05:29 PM
-1

I imagine it's two different groups saying these things. Not to mention hypocrisy is something everyone has. It's interesting how every group and opinion any man or men have is somehow held by all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 05:24 PM
0

Happens to men and women. I've seen nothing but accusations made against lonely guys for the last several years. I doubt anyone actually cares about Chelsea Handler having kids or not. It's usually some other thing the woman in question is doing that brings on animosity. They also don't think that women solo-traveling are "evil feminist careerwoman" lol. And making comments on something online doesn't men need to know the life story of each person
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 05:15 PM
1

Note that this is the exact inverse of the narrative from medieval times. Women were seen as sinful temptresses who lure men from the righteous path with their dangerous sexuality Why say stuff that's just blatantly false
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/07/24 10:51 PM

Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 04:11 AM

I've always figured that the reason there's so much hatred for these guys and literally no one will listen is because women feel entitled to watching men who don't fall into their predetermined guideliness, end themselves. So when these men are instead getting together to talk about things instead of dying for women like they want they get enraged
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 04:05 AM

Congrats on the meltdown girly. Listen, I get it. I just like to see you guys post it first hand. Have a nice life thanks for showing others how women are
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 04:03 AM
2

There's no need to discuss things. It won't be productive. Don't worry no expectations are being placed on you. Listen feel free to keep minimizing what men go through and telling them what they feel. Take anything they say and read it in the worst possible way it can be to attack them, and so on. I expect no less.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:51 AM

When women tell men what their problems and experiences actually are, the men seem like they aren't actually going through anything. Funny how that works. Especially since you lecture nonstop
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:42 AM

When a man does anything that isn't entirely for the benefit of women, if he expresses his feelings in a way they don't want, and god forbid if he's sad about anything in his life, he's an entitled misogynistic creep who deserves to be locked up. I mean goodness gracious we're forced to listen to women whine and cry about stuff everyone deals with constantly, god forbid we say anything though
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:25 AM

That's what I said. How smart are you. Why even reply if you're not even going to engage in discussion. We get it, you aren't capable of doing anything that doesn't make you the victim always. I'm always amazed at the blatant lack of empathy and entitlement
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:22 AM
2

since when is therapy and meds are supposed to make people love you? it's supposed to make you love yourself. It's absolutely not supposed to do that. For how much therapy is pushed for you think people would understand it

while i agree there are harmless incels i think hey should detach from the term and just go by virgin? I mean it's pretty obvious why people aren't gonna leave the only judgement free community where they can relate to others just so they can still be mocked and insulted. but that's everyone.. fat people and gay people get bullied and double standards just as much irl and they don't go on shooting schools and creating websites to hate the "noormies" I always forget that there's nothing that has …

Women and self-hating men will make up any number of things about people they don't like. Why do you think what you quoted or the idea that people feel entitled to sex come from? They just throw out accusations so they can ignore those people and never have to think about them. I mean I know for all the times women have explained to me what I've experienced and what I feel they've never gotten anything right.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:10 AM

Who said anything about helping? Basic empathy for people shouldn't be something impossible to find. But I know it's easier not to
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 02:35 AM

If you don't think there's any outside factors at all that influence someone ending up in the community or that perhaps certain things unique to them exist that's fine. The lack of empathy displayed is pretty constant for everyone so no biggie. But a pretty good reason people join the boards and that closed off environment is so other people stop invalidating their experiences, lecturing them on how they can't complain, and a whole host of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 02:26 AM

Of course that's all that ever happened to anyone in the community, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 02:17 AM

That whole topic regarding looks vs other non-physical factors and finding dates has been done to death.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 02:10 AM

Actual incel culture and the community has existed for like 15ish years maybe more. There absolutely are things that single them out. All the other dudes who want to get laid but are failing or whatever, the name fits but they aren't in the community. The looks thing is a pointless discussion so I'll skip that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 02:06 AM

None of this crap is true in the first place. But it's amusing that men must never have or voice any insecurities in their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 01:27 AM
7

Men by a landslide obviously. I guess women are working to make it about them though like usual.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 04:55 PM

And the OP is clearly mentally ill. Anyone who rights that much about this dumb shit is. Still though I wasn't talking about women so I'm not sure why you're bringing them up. But still, no one's defining women's value by their sex life. It matters for dating though. Just like I don't think less of someone for having a drinking problem, but I won't let them drive my car. But like I've been saying, if you ever do or say anything that isn't what women want you to, you're a misogynist who defines h…
