I've got a buddy who got tested and had very low T. He swallowed the pill and started OHS. Now he deadlifts over 400 pound and slaps his wife's butt cheeks on the regular. Totally 180. He did it all while having a very low T count. So maybe low T is an influence, but your actions have the final say on your situation.

She's excited and enjoying the transformation until you take over the money. I would go back through you statements and make sure there's nothing fishy there. Most likely it's like everyone said and she's responding to change in general, or maybe doing the bills made her feel like a big girl. Maybe she missed some bills and had late fees and overdraft fees she doesn't want you to find. Maybe Chad made her pay for the motel one time and she had to use her debit card. Probably not, but better safe…

"I think I finally get it.", is like a physicist saying, "I think I finally get science." You may be aware of some basic concepts and see them at play in your life, but living in your own frame and building yourself into a strong and capable leader is a lifelong journey. I'm a completely different person now than I was before I started a year ago, and I know I've only put my foot into this rabbit hole.

Read everything, most twice, hang with guys 1-2 times a week, lift 3x per week, lost 20 lbs, bench 245 (know this is low but going up fast), don't give a shit about the silent treatment, ace it all the time, growing business and controlling finances, fuck 3-5 times per week, my wife begs for my coke can of a cock. I consider myself a rookie with a long ways to go, but I proud of how far I've come and look forward to the challenges ahead. I think either you didn't read the other comments or you'r…

Nope. I think I figured this out. I was in my wife's frame from the beginning and influenced my group of friends to go with her suggestion. She got butt hurt when her plan didn't materialize. I was disappointed in myself for not being in control of my own situation. Now the only thing to do is wait for things to cool off a little, then slap her on the ass and say let's get back to business.

I think you are exactly right. My negative feelings were because I was not in control from the very beginning. The first mate suggest a maneuver and the captain says OK let's do that. Then things go wrong. As usual, better leadership would have lead to a better outcome. Thanks for that story and insight.

That's kind of how it happened. Woke up this morning, she asked how it was. Not volunteering that info at that point would have felt like I was misleading her, so I said the crew changed plans and decided to go to the real club. She said she didn't want to talk to me for a while. Then I said ok and started cooking breakfast.

Are you saying that I shouldn't have the mindset of a captain?

Good stuff. I'll keep that in my pocket for if the pouting continues.

I think I'll go with the 2-3 combo. She said she didn't want to talk to me. Fine. I've got shit to do. When she sees that not working to get frame control, she'll decide its time for a verbal approach. I'll treat her like any child or employee that didn't like one of my decisions. I'm sure she'll get sick of pouting and acting butt hurt sooner or later. Then we'll get back to good times. But as far as what's going on in my head, I'll just ignore that too. It just doesn't matter what's causing my…

That's usually the case. Was having trouble with why this time was different. But ultimately the why doesn't matter. Thanks for the input.

Yes, it doesn't matter what her feelz or mine are. I'm the captain and my decisions are just that, my decisions. There was a voice in my head. I'm not sure if it was my wife or some angry disappointed authority figure from childhood, or whatever. He point is that it was someone else's voice in my head, not mine. Thanks for helping me snap out of it.

True. Feelz are RE-actions to actions. Actions are should be the primary focus. Thanks .

When I say "get my alpha back", I mean in my head. On the outside, I'll STFU and go on with business as usual, and I think I'll probably handle this just fine. But on the inside those beta feelz are flooding back and I haven't felt them since I devoured the pill. I'm having trouble getting my Pook like mindset back. *edit: moved to response rather than new comment.

On this front, I'd like to implore you all to read "Profit First" by Mike Michalowicz. I am a business owner and entrepreneur. Implementing the strategies in this book have helped me realize the degree to which I have not viewed money as a finite resource. IMO, cutting expenses may or may not be something you need to do. What's more important is that you begin the habits of intentionally and consciously selecting in advance how you will spend your money. Budgeting is typically how this mindset t…
