Which they often don’t, because they want the availability to have someone a little younger if they have open units and no seniors moving in, or people who are in their 30s but are mentally or physically not as able to live a traditional life. Also, the number of empty houses/living situations is literally higher than the number of unhoused people (in the US), so it’s really more the false scarcity of the housing market than women wanting to live together.
