I agree whole-heartedly we should strive to mind our tongue, but in a forum where you can literally censor yourself while typing out a comment, you can also edit what you have typed out after posting. People who ignore the rules should be politely excused from their ability to post for a time, if they aren't going to follow a simple rule as don't use curse words.

Not that you seem to care about following rules, rule number one in this sub is no profanity.

Thank you taking the time to share your aspirations for this group and explaining your value in this sub, however I do believe that this isn't a group I care to be a part of. Thank you again for your time, I'll be off now.

Don't misunderstand me, I understand the idea of giving these stats, my concern about them is if I have a personality problem, I may very well be aware of it and hide it from this subreddit, because after all it is the internet and I can be whoever I want. There's nobody who can call me out for lying. Secondly the lack of biblical guidance bothers me as well. In my comment I stated that there was only one person to use the bible to answer the concern of the questioner, and one who blatantly used…

I truly hope you are just being silly asking for my stats, as my post wasn't a question nor was I seeking advice from the likes of this group. Thank you for replying, it also reminded me of the lack of biblical direction given by the majority of this group. I first noticed this lack of biblical (and in a couple cases christian) guidance to questions when someone recently inquired about how to deal with people possibly slandering him. Only one person did I see utilize biblical text to back his po…

My only concerns with this subreddit is that you expect a laundry list of a person to ask a simple question here, what does someone's accounting information have to do with their question about how they should deal with concerns that have nothing to do with money? This subreddits demands for people to give disclosure is laughable, most churches don't even expect that much personal information be given for membership, and they have the ear of the pastor at their disposal. In fact I'm leaving this…

I don't know what exactly is going on in this group right now, but don't listen to these people who have nothing christ-like to say. Follow Christ, pray diligently read your bible and don't worry about what people think about you so long as you're not saying things that are racist and sexist. And as far as being bigoted, I find it funny how many on the left think it's something that only christians are, simply put bigoted can be understood as not changing your mind.

My advice would be to first speak to your pastor before others (besides family) regarding issues and concerns then the leadership in your student ministry, as for the girl I would just go to coffee have a nice time and if things continue in relationship then tackle that, if she or you are no longer interested then leave things off on a nice note.

Look, I'm not saying that your life will miraculously be fixed, I'm saying that when we feel like God is the farthest from us, that's when He is nearest to us. I would suggest that instead of thinking of praying as bringing your requests to Him, try having an open dialogue with Him. When you wake up, get on your knees (literally if you're able) and talk to Him, ask Jesus for guidance, for strength. At any moment in the day speak to God as you would to another person, vocally, intentionally, afte…

Philippians 4:4-7 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Just remember these trying times are meant to help to refocus our attention on Him. PLease keep in prayer.

I'm curious, what specifically makes you believe that SDA is "closer to the truth than almost all the modern day churches"?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
