Women forget that men are around them and see their behavior.

Domestic violence is literally equal for men and women

lol yeah “restraining” pretty quickly turns into assault charges. I don’t understand why sympathy and always being perceived as the victim (science has literally proven this) isn’t seen as a privilege.

I don’t care. Men are having a rough time….so is everyone else. But they have spaces. I mean…I knew this was some Reddit bait haha but cmon how are you missing the point so hard. If you think I’m a bigot, that’s fine I apologize if I offended you.

No. Only masc presenting and passing. I’m sure I just made some social faux pas, but cmon what are we doin here. If the world expects of you what it typically expects of men, you’re welcome.

Sure, whatever answer you want is fine

Sure. If you are masc presenting and the world interacts with you as a man absolutely. If the world expects you to hold it all in and never crack, you’re welcome.

Or I could just have space for the dudes and women will have their space and the world will keep turning and no one will care. There is already a chat just for the ladies.

1 in 4 men are the victim of SA or MTP

Men are 4x as likely to be murdered, and 3x as likely to be physically assaulted (30% by women). The same evolutionary mechanics that power “the male gaze” put a force field around women.

I think women forget that if they were a man they would be in the same position. The average woman has no trouble having her emotional needs met, the average dude is invisible. I’ve seen women be treated like men and they lose their minds, they would be just as “weird” if they were treated the same way.

And men’s dating pool is 99% idiots like this lol

A woman stabbed her husband 108 times, killing him, and she got 2 years probation (cause she was high)

I feel spaces for mens mental health have to be segregated. (ime)When women enter the space it naturally starts putting womens comfort and emotional state first. ex. Like I had put in my post. I self harm and my cutting has increased as of late. I have no friends (partly from being too depressed, partly cause I'm weird) and the group chat was really a HUGE help and had stopped me from cutting within a few days. The girls in the chat were talking about gender expectations in dating, I was mention…

Women have to be bothered by it. Once AI porn is everywhere their leverage goes wayyyy down.

We do build our own resources.....they just all go to women first lol I was watching a doc on the war in ukraine and they were handing out Water to civilians and it was like "women and children grab water....men, go get your own"

Exactly. "hmmm so you must believe Black men are more misogynistic because they are more likely to commit domestic violence?" (Disclaimer: I understand the pressures society puts on Black men is the reason for this. Also that black men are treated as being more violent and are therefore more likely to see themselves that way (possibly)) Mainstream cultures is able to understand the stress of the black experience exasperates things…this logic disappears for men in general.

I have some sexual trauma from childhood. People just dont want to hear about it cause they dont give a shit. A weird side effect of this is that its frowned upon to have sexual hang ups as a male ("all guys wanna do is fuck" etc) so you seem weird if you have a negative relationship with sex. You cant explain WHY you have a weird relationship to sex though cause no one cares. I feel like alot of logic surrounding mens experiences are kinda "chicken or egg" circular logic.

-Im a shorter guy. If I get angry or defensive its immediately linked to my height and brushed off. -men cant get angry or frustrated without making everyone uncomfortable....but its also the only emotion we can show -my body can be made fun of all day -i can't complain about dating without everyone saying "well are you approaching girls?!" -my boss had her shoes off in a WORK MEETING and i couldn't say it made me uncomfortable cause then i would be implying her feet arent worth seeing which is …

I feel like modern feminism is reflecting regular relationship dynamics on a macro scale. “I’m mad at you because I messed up”

I know this doesnt directly answer your question, but I Think an often times overlooked "masculine trait"/ "thing to be proud of" is mens contributions to music and art. We've made pretty much all of it, and even now with completely equal access to the necessary tools (music software, video cameras, tutorials and whatnot) we're still killing it.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/05/23 12:14 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
