Yes, my brain stops working and i only have 2 responses: if I think I have a theoretical chance I go quiet and try to run away or hide. If I think I have zero theoretical chance my voice goes an octave higher, and I just word vomit incoherently. Both are still very awkward reactions.

If you do more in depth research you will find that there are different types of feminism. The one people usually think of on this subreddit is white feminism. The goal of modern feminist is intersectional feminism which I explained in my previous post. Sure, I know lots of women who have no problem paying for themselves. I mean you're gonna find hypocrites everywhere, I wouldn't let them speak for the whole.

Because sexual selection is a thing "If I fit I sit"

Feminism is about dismantling the patriarchy. The patriarchy privileges cis-het WASP men. Feminism is intersectional meaning there are multiple factors that influence your ability to thrive in our society(gender, race, class, religion, ethnicity, coubtry of origin, ablility, language). For example, just because you are a white man doesn't mean you experience all of the privileges of society. The patriarchy holds up privileges for those who can be close to that standard(Cisgendered heteterosexual…

Your lack of empathy is disturbing, but since I did not connect my example to a specific argument I will clarify. I was trying to illustrate that the fear exists everywhere because any man is capable of causing harm whether you want to date or not. In many cases just rejecting a man is cause for them to try to harm you. Making simple eye contact for a brief moment had this man believing I was interested when in fact I was not. Therefore physical appearance plays no role in if a man can cause phy…

When I studied abroad in Paris I was on the metro and unintentionally made eye contact with a random man who was getting off the car(did not hold the eye contact it was like normal see a random and look away) I got onto the car assuming he left as any normal person would. I could tell someone had gotten on behind me and realized it was the same guy because i saw his reflection in the window. While the train was moving, he got closer and touched my back several times and each time I would move aw…

Your question refers to just gender roles. Your examples pertain to gender roles, and your conclusion then states maybe we should change the definition of feminism. Therefore, it can be inferred you are unaware of Intersectional Feminism which is the modern interation of the feminist movement. My point still stands you need to do some research on how feminism has changed over time and what issues feminists are actually fighting for today in addition to equality between the sexes.

Ok, so if men don't want to be conscripted why don't you get up and rally a group of men's rights activists and get it abolished yourselves. It costs virtually nothing to support something right?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 04:22 AM

Feminism is not just about gender roles. Please do some research on your own to have a grasp of the concept first before criticizing what you clearly don't know.

Contesting results implies that you can disagree with an outcome. If you do not contest then you are agreeing to the loss. No, I haven't been in a fight because I'm not an idiot and have the self control and discipline to not use violence. You're completely missing the point as indicated by your insistence that brute force is better than mental fortitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 01:32 AM
1

Actually, they do consent to losing. If consent in a loss wasn't true you wouldn't be able to contest the results of anything. That's also why sportsmanship exist. You're also making a ton of generalizations that have completely removed this topic from the original point which is that all abusive men are weak, but not all weak men are abusive. You clearly cannot grasp the idea of mental fortitude vs. physical fortitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 11:18 PM

So based in your logic, all athletes are insecure? That's ridiculous. Yes, we can. Professional fighters are trained consenting adults. A victim is not consenting to their abuse. Both experience violence, but committing violence against someone else who doesn't consent is a crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 03:59 AM
1

No it's not because they are fighting another professional trained consenting adult. It is a competition, not a reach for control over the other person in reaction to an insecurity bring triggered.

You can have a weak mind and a strong body. Being so insecure to the point that you're willing to put down others using physical force shows you have a weak mind and character, because you lack empathy, morals, and self control.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 11:57 PM

Absolutely not. All abusive men are weak men, but not all weak men are abusive.

Aren't red pillers the ones who claim cheating for men is having a need met whereas for women it's some kind of heinous crime?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 09:36 PM

Men are allowed to show emotion. They are not encouraged to be vulnerable. If an emotion is deemed to be weak then they will not express it. Men may not communicate their needs effectively, but they will prioritize taking care of those needs someway or another, even if it will hurt another person. Ie. Cheating. If a man cheats, in many cultures it's seen as a man just getting a need met. There is not as strong of a social consequence. He doesn't have to consider the impact it may have on others(…

Emotional labor is the idea that in addition to managing your own emotions and needs you also try or are expected to consider others needs and emotions. If your existence involves only managing your own emotions and needs, you are not exerting excessive emotional labor. Women generally feel pressured by society to be "nice", keep the peace, manage intrapersonal relationships, and not express their own emotions or needs if it will have a negative impact on others. Ie. Eldest siblings, particularl…

Then they are not part of the casual dating scene in the first place. Dating is not inherently for casual sex. People approach dating with different intentions. People are too afraid to actually state their true intentions. Also you're contradicting yourself by saying this is directed toward left wing women who are becoming "super conservative."

Women desire more than just status and wealth. Why do men on this subreddit reduce yourselves to just what resources you have or what you can do for a woman? I had an ex that was a CEO(had status and wealth), dumped me out of the blue, then tried coming back 6 months later. I blocked him, because I'm not going to let someone treat me like shit just because they have a lot of money.

That is exactly what I am saying. Yes, you should communicate up front like it were a contract. It's called clear communication. It feels unnatural at times, but once you get used to it it cuts out so much BS. Person 1:"I am looking for A. What are you looking for?" Person 2:"I'm actually looking for B, so A isn't going to work for me." Now A and B may not have clear definitions, so that's your job to talk it through with your person if the relationship progresses. It's better than saying you wa…

I didn't say women don't do this, so don't put words in my mouth. But if you assume all people you go on dates with hide bad intentions with a facade then you will always see that in anyone you date. You are projecting you past negative experiences onto other people. I think you might be the delusional one.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:34 PM

Your response tells me the problem does not seem to lie in what question is being asked. You cannot control how other people will react and you are assuming all women you interact with have a mask on. If you cannot understand the simplest way to ask someone, than I cannot help you or be bothered to explain.

"What kind of a relationship are you looking for..?" Is pretty clear. And don't say "and we can see where it goes from there. " Because then she's hopeful you'll change your mind.

The best relationships have been when my partner and I were clear about what we wanted. Maybe if you have a partner that can handle being honest, you won't have to worry they're also hiding crazy.

I literally don't care how other women do their makeup unless it looks good and I need to know how many virgins I need to kidnap. It's a lot of witchcraft...er work... to look good.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 02:26 PM

Make up in itself is not going to pump and dump you just like being nice in itself won't either. It's about the intention behind the facade. Both are facades, both can be genuine or disingenuous. This debate is so old and played out. Can't you move on with your life?

Duh. First off, you're not entitled to reproduce. There are basic standards set and seen as acceptable by society. If you can't meet the basics, tough shit. Secondly, if someone told me the guy I wanted to date was an asshole, I'd take note, go on a date, let him show me his ass sooner or later. Then decide. It's about saving time and energy. Thirdly, I thought men went with who'd let them get their dick wet. You make it sound like men are pussy sommeliers. "This pussy has peach notes, a hint of…

So it seems like you want more of the intimacy? He might think sex and intimacy are 2 separate things. You could try phrasing your concerns differently? "I would want to have more sex if you could do x,y, and z. " "I need intimacy before we can have PIV sex." "To me intimacy is x,y,z and sex is a and b." "What does sex look like you to? What does intimacy look like to you?" Sometimes, things that we think are obvious or common sense are not for the other person. I apologize if you've already tri…

They are very valid. An abusive exbf of mine in college assaulted me by tackling me to the ground, climbing on top of me and choking me. I was a female rugby player, 5'4" 200ish lbs, and he was average height/ weight, didn't work out, nerdy type. Most people that I told didn't believe he was physically capable, because I was the one who played rugby. I was in shock and had no strength to push back.
