I think he is saying that looks only last for a relatively short while, whilst "skill" as he puts it, is useful on the long term. So if you,put everything on your looks and don't invest in other parts of yourself (personality, education) then you are outshined by others come thirties who have invested in themselves for the long term.

Except that I don't have a negative inclination towards traditional gender roles or people with an inclination towards the right. I have a negative inclination towards hearsay and non scientific claims. I also have a really negative inclination towards broad claims about fixed gender roles. I don't believe every boy benefits from rough and tumble play even though most do. These things are not set in stone. Edit: I also don't like to be grouped into 'you people'. You sound like you are looking for something there isn't. Stop making these atack-ish claims. We're all here for the same reason and this kind of behavior is uncalled for. As a teacher myself I have to agree that this 'boys will be boys' campaign doesn't grasp the truth. This campaign makes claims but doesn't provide proof other than hearsay. First off, they're not banned, just demonetized. Second, Youtube is a corporation. It's not a space for free speech. If it doesn't make them money, it's not interesting. Even though I don't agree with Youtube doing this, you can't make them do something, or even hold against them that they use the internet space they pay for in the way they want to. It's their server, they decide what's on it.

It does not mean that females are pushed into health care, and it certainly doesn't mean they will probably "wipe someones incontinent ass" I work at a youth center in the Netherlands, we get a lot of those interns, both male and female. You actually have a choice what to do with your internship, most just take the easy way out by doing health care / elderly care because they always take in interns. What the kids do there is serve coffee, take people on walks and such. No ass wiping is really go…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
