I feel like saying “your body is not good, you must shave it because you are a woman”, was the first attack. So the way I see it, I am only attacking people who are belligerent in the first place. This conflict would never have happened if the other group could have just accepted the fact that hair grows.

I didn’t give any advice. And I didn’t say anything about what I personally find to be attractive. You make a lot of assumptions, this makes it difficult to try to talk to you. Please just read the words I say and respond to those. Then this would be an effective conversation.

This post is a question for men, and I replied to it. So it is odd for you to assume that I am not a man. And you are saying that a woman shaving her legs counts as hygiene because men find it attractive. That’s not what “hygiene” means.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/22 07:50 PM

How is it basic hygiene? Men don’t have to shave all of their body hair, and they are arguably dirtier/smellier than women. It’s obvious not for hygiene.

I remember when I was a kid, we used to smoke weed in this big park. You parked at the parking lot, then walked past a basketball court and soccer field, to a circle of concrete benches. This is a huge park in the middle of a huge city. This chubby redhead girl shows up late, and she’s afraid to walk to the circle because there’s many men playing soccer. She wants us to go meet her in the parking lot and walk her to the circle. She honestly believes that all thirty men enjoying their recreationa…

This question doesn’t make any sense. It implies that a person should never want to even be around anyone who is inferior to them. It’s just random. Humans are superior to cats. Does that mean that no human should ever be around a cat?

When the shit hits the fan, they pass martial law, and allow women to leave, but men must stay in the war zone and fight. Will this finally allow women to understand that they have it easier in society? You don’t even have to fight to save your country. You can just move to Poland and find a new man.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 09:07 PM

It’s not like prostitution, where any women alive could just walk up to a street corner and become a hooker. You can’t just walk up to a race track and say “hey I’m a short person, I’d like to become a high paid jockey now”. It’s also ridiculous to assume that any man who admits to being short must be jockey sized.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 02:30 AM

Nope. Fat is calorie storage. No amount of hormones and genes can make fat magically materialize on your body. It’s not genetics or hormones that makes famine survivors or endurance athletes skinny. They are skinny because of their diet and energy expenditures.

It’s true. It’s not about desperation, that’s a random arrogant conclusion to jump to. It’s just how a lot of men socialize. If I’m cool with another dude in a platonic way, I’m just like “what’s up bro?”, and he is like “nothing much, just chilling”. That’s what platonic friendship looks like for a lot of men. If this is what friendliness looked like for a woman, it would not get misinterpreted when she expresses it. But they friendliness that women show often looks a lot like flirting. Maybe t…

Shout out to the fat lady from The Mamas and the Papas, for being a chubby icon. She paved the path for other chubby women to slowly walk through while breathing heavily. People act like Adele and Lizzo just invented being overweight.

This is a not a stance that can be argued against. You are just randomly deciding that “normal” people use the words “just be yourself”, to mean something different than what those words mean. I don’t think that normal people speak in cryptic riddles. I think they are literally telling people to be themselves. What point could I make to convince you that words are defined by their definitions?

There was this interesting episode of WWYD; a cute little boy approached random men in a store and asked them to shake the hand of his imaginary friend. All of the men responded politely. But some pretended to shake the hand, and some said “sorry buddy, but I don’t see anyone there”. I feel like blue pill is pretending to shake the hand, and redpill is admitting that you can’t see it.

Nobody is perfect. Lots of women would date a gangbanger, or a crooked cop. A lot of men will date a drug user, or an irresponsible mother. But stalking is where we should draw the line? Stalking is nonviolent. Some people like to stalk. It gets them out the house. Who are you to judge

I would actually love a crazy stalker. A completely one sided relationship where I am idolized, that would be awesome. I don’t understand why women hate this. Some chick calls me up randomly in the middle of the night “I’m outside your home,(heavy breathing) I see you left a light on”. I would be like “cool, good looking out. Why don’t you come inside, do you feel like making some sandwiches?” Sounds sweet.

I just hate this about women. Instead of looking for solutions to problems, they just express their emotions. I see problems as obstacles to be dealt with. And my entire life is like a pursuit of ways to deal with problems. I don’t need friends to understand and empathize with me that I have problems. I think that’s what art is for. You express the sameness of the human condition through art, not by telling your friends about it. If my problem is “2+2”, I want a friend who counts on his fingers …

I feel like you are equating happiness with social class. And it is your right to see affluence as happiness. But you can not decide that all of humanity must feel the same way. Humans and the emotion of happiness both existed before social classes did. Some would say that the two concepts are entirely unrelated.

No, crazy person. I already told you we were talking about an action movie star, and how he acts in his action movies. I’m not surprised that you are being so dense. I am sort of annoyed by it, and I just want you to make more reality based arguments. If you want to debate people, you should just debate them on things they actually said and ideas they actually communicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 12:51 PM

Be quiet. You take my opinion on action movie stars, but you quote me as if I was talking about how men should behave. And now you have the nerve to call other people delusional? Get some self awareness.

You should do things that make sense. Not things that feel the best. Building a life and a career and a healthy body, often feels horrible. But it can result in happiness. Opiates feel amazing. But they can easily lead to death. I understand that heroin makes you feel better than hard work does. But you have to make the logical choice that will give you the best outcome.

No. This comment has a lot to unpack, so much so that it is unfairly demanding of me. Not upset, just talking about things Who are you quoting when you just put emasculated in quotation marks? People caring is not the matter at hand. They are free to care about whatever they choose to. Peeing on people is a random comparison to make. I was met with some resistance when I said that aggressiveness is akin to manliness, because testosterone causes aggression. Is this really a controversial take? You literally look to The Rock as an icon of wisdom and good judgment. Listen, he’s funny and he’s good at working out. But don’t give him too much credit. A lot of these more book oriented men are actually pretty wise as well.

You are sermonizing some type of worldview, or something. When I’m talking about masculinity, I’m not talking about the best way to live your life as a human man today. I’m talking about male vs female. A concept that existed before the first human being ever did. You are drastically misinterpreting my words.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 10:42 PM
-1

No it’s not, FYI. This is just common knowledge science. Testosterone does promote aggressiveness. That’s why bulls are more scary than cows. This is just reality here. I’m not saying that humans have to act violent. I’m just describing what a hormone does to a living mammal.

Ok, maybe. That sounds like an interesting movie. But it’s not the kind of film that The Rock does. It doesn’t even seem like it would be in the action genre. Sounds like a serious drama. If the Rock did more serious dramas maybe I would see him as a more serious man.

Testosterone causes aggression. So aggression is manly. You think it’s common for rock stars to be manly? How did you get this idea? Do you even know any bands? Rock stars are mostly skinny guys with long hair, not manly guys. And you are only half right about rappers. Looking at the current most popular rappers it looks like half legit gangsters and half soft fashion focused guys

The Rock is a good example. He is known for being a juvenile child-friendly character. He rarely has sex in his movies, that might be scary. And he doesn’t really use his strength to viciously attack people. He doesn’t show a lot of anger. He mostly smiles and acts goofy. Sure he looks like the perfect man, but he is not allowed to act like a man. Sports stars are appreciated for their performance. It makes no difference how many they act. We love Dennis Rodman because he was good on the court. …

One time I was with an overweight woman who was talking about “ harder” during sex. I have never had a girl who was average size or skinny say “harder” to me. I feel like it was an inappropriate request. If she was skinny she would have felt like it was already hard enough. It’s harder to get in position if her size can not accommodate that. If you are a big girl you need to have sex with really big guys. Don’t hook up with a skinny 5’11 dude and then complain that it’s not hard enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 03:15 PM

I remember I called someone out on here during the last purge. A girl was extremely smug about her horrible opinion. I checked her post history and she’s talking about how she once “lost her mind” because a boy was just not that into her. If someone doesn’t understand something, you should explain it to them. But there’s no reason to inform them that they are bad at understanding things. It’s an unsolicited value judgment. That’s why it’s rude. This is a debate sub. “ you can’t understand this” is not a debate or an argument. It’s the end of an argument. A way to shut things down. Why are we here communicating with women if they could never understand us and we can never understand them?

Is there something scientific that proves this, or is it just a feeling that you have? I have heard that the older children in their classes become more successful because they are bigger and more mature. But I’ve never heard that boys with bigger penises become more confident. I gotta say I don’t really believe you on this. I am confident that every woman gets attention from men. It’s actually common for men to harass women. That’s even less of a reason to judge and shame them, if they are a product of their environment and had issues with their upbringing. Daddy issues are a very common thing for men and women. I wasn’t comparing sluts to dogs to say they they both had no choice but to be themselves. I’m saying why would they choose any different? A dog is not a slave because it likes bones. Bones are essential to doghood. That’s why they have strong jaws and love chewing, because they are born to chew bones. It’s not an urge that they can’t fight. It’s fulfilling their natural lifestyle that brings them happiness and fulfillment. If you respect women’s decisions then you should respect if they decide …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 04:17 PM

Well the word “gay” has taken on a completely different meaning over time. It didn’t use to be about a man or a sexuality at all. But “slut” has always been used to refer to a woman who has a lot of sex. So I don’t think it’s meaning has changed. But I do see where you are coming from. It can be used without a negative connotation in some circles. But it seems as if more often than not, people would take it as an insult if you called them that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 04:00 PM

Rape is a harmful crime because it has a victim. Shaming them keeps victims safer. Having consensual recreational sex is fine and requires no intervention from the public.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 03:54 PM

I’m talking about the etymology of the word, it shares the same history as the word “slop”, it literally means dirty

I take umbrage with the assertion that women risk safety and men do not. I would like to see actual casualty statistics from tinder date misfortunes. It’s not as if only women are made of flesh and bone, while men have unlocked god-mode.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 03:45 PM

Slut is an offensive slur that means that someone is dirty. But people aren’t dirty just because they engage in recreational intercourse. And I don’t know why you would want to tell people that they shouldn’t have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 03:40 PM

Is it a dog’s choice that he likes to chew bones? Is it a bees choice that they want to sip nectar? Is it a horse’s choice that he loves to run freely through the open plaines?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 03:34 PM

There’s no such thing as slut-shaming, only slut hatred and discrimination. You don’t say that black people are facing black-shaming. Or transgender people face transgender-shaming. The word “slut-shaming” makes it sound like you acknowledge that the act of “being a slut” exists and the person in question has committed it. It’s a childish insult, a slur really. Imagine if they said that black people get nword-shamed, or transgenders trap-shamed. It’s should really be called “recreational interco…

I feel like you are romanticizing cat ladies as just healthy women who are comfortable with cats. It’s obvious an extreme behavior, and poking fun at it is not projection. It’s a bleak existence. I never heard someone say “oh my friend is a crazy cat lady, but she’s super happy and fun to be around.” These women are not “tired of bullshit” and throwing a protest by dying alone in a pile of cat fur. Men want them sexually but their emotional problems always cause relationship drama. Instead of wo…

I would just look at them and interact with them and ask a couple questions, to see how good of a person they were. If they don’t like books, they can’t be too good. If they have hatred or bigotry they probably aren’t good. If they don’t know anything about art or science they probably aren’t good. I would just quickly get a basic idea of how good they are when I meet them, by gathering information.

I got banned from publicfreakout because on a video of a woman getting stabbed by her husband, I said she shouldn’t have married that guy. Most other comments were chastising men in the video who didn’t immediately put their lives on the line to save the woman from the man she chose to spend her life with.

I don’t think this is all that complicated of an issue. Men like sex, and sexual themes used in marketing appeal to men, because men want sex. If you tell men “this body spray will allow you to fuck”, it entices men to buy it. The same is not true if you tell women that a body spray will allow them to fuck. They don’t want sex, they are actively trying to avoid men who want to have sex with them.

Apply the same logic to other things to see if it is good. Disney is marketed at children. Mature people dont choose to watch Disney children’s media. They choose r rated media. But children’s media is more popular that mature media. That’s why Disney princess movies sell more than art house dramas. It doesn’t mean that art house drama movie fans are settling. Kids love McDonald’s. But a more mature person would probably enjoy a gourmet burger or a lettuce wrap. Lettuce wraps and gourmet burgers…

Male sexuality is demonized and seen as evil. Men are socially acceptable to hate. You can say out loud in the most “inclusive” of circles “I hope I don’t run into any strange men tonight”, and they will just laugh and agree. Reminds me of a story Tyra Banks said on her show many years ago. She was doing a body paint themed photo shoot. She saw some male painters and she didn’t like it. She felt like men might be “getting off” from painting her. So she requested a female body painter to do her. …

The customer is not always right. In your metaphor the customer is the fish. And fish are dumb. Just like customers are dumb. Like I heard this one anecdote, a coffee company set up a focus group. They asked people “what kind of coffee do you like”, and a lot of people said “I like a bold rich robust dark roast”. But when they actually gave the same people a taste test, they actually chose a light sweet milky coffee. They just didn’t understand that that was what they really liked. They were jus…

I don’t think it’s appropriate to tell someone to change their focus and desires in life. I don’t think it works like that. I’m sure if they could they would. People use to tell women to give up on career desires focus on homemaking. It left the women feeling dissatisfied.

Why do people so often insanely misunderstand what trp even is? It’s not an internet community. You don’t stop using it when you get older. It’s just some thoughts and strategies that you can use to influence your relationships. And even if it wasn’t, aging out doesn’t make things die off. My generation aged out of Pokémon games, but the younger generation picked them up. So they are still around, whether the original audience aged out or not.

I don’t see how turning your thoughts into words is masculine.

In the 80s it was way more common for men to dress skimpy. Compare 1980’s basketball uniforms, or rockstar outfits to the ones of today. Kurt Colbane despite being sort of an emotional pansy, actually did a lot to make style more masculine and less feminine. Before him bands were focused on their hairstyles and being androgynous.
