You need to speak up about it then. Any male who speaks up about it is automatically dismissed as a sexist

The point isn't that there's some conspiracy and women are all at fault here, the point is that there are very real problems facing men that just get swept under the rug as "you're men what could you complain about you have it the easiest." You completely missed the point.

The worst part for me is the name itself. If it's supposed to be the male version of feminism meninism doesn't make sense. It's not womenism, so why meninism? The inverse of feminine is masculine, so why wouldn't it be masculinism?

So since most of the convicts in the US are black we should have billboards that say "black people, teach your children not to steal?" No, that's racist.

Damn, and I really liked wired too, guess I'll have to find a new tech magazine/site I know it's opinion but really, the myth of meritocracy and the growing belief in “misandry” online. Really.

Exactly, they like to pretend this is some bastion of free thought and discussion but they downvote anyone they don't agree with

Meh, as far as mensrights go this 1) isn't a big deal 2) kind of makes sense (you're making gender exclusive events) and 3) isn't a mensrights issue because the mother son games were also banned.

Since we’ve been discussing how feminist, trans activist and liberal agenda-makers have been pushing the idea that women rape men, Wait what?! They're the ones marginalizing that. This site has to be either satire or just pure insanity

I said that being a good leader is subjective and you're going off about ideology and concepts of fairness?

I did complain, I've linked this ridiculous blog to several "feminists" to get their reactions. It's a horrible thing and is very similar to the use of "science" to prove the inferiority of blacks or jews. My single comment in response to the other guy doesn't sum up my entire opinion
/r/MensRights03/02/13 09:19 PM

What are you even implying? Most leaders have been terrible, and there have been next to no female leaders so there is no logical conclusion to be taken from that data...
/r/MensRights03/02/13 09:17 PM

Competitiveness could also lead to conflict, the same as lower risk aversion. A good leader is far to subjective as it's a societal view

You started off well, men are obviously stronger, faster, basically anything physical However "science" and "being leaders" is far too societal of a thing to be legitimate

LOOOL nice reply, faggot! :) And a bigot as well. See it's people like you that give MRA a bad name. How about you explain why feminism isn't communistic? No, much easier to shit on others without contributing anything. This is why you aren't welcome here. Unsub plox. Do you know what communism is? Or socialism? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=define+communism Feminism is advocating for equal rights for women/gender biases. They do tend to have some misandrist tendencies as well as some ridiculous ideas, b…

my belief that feminism is, or at least has become, a leftist philosophy that is a stepping stone to a communist/socialist state I'm sorry, but that was straight up retarded. I'm all for mens rights, but when we upvote shit like this you just look insane. I'm going to have to unsubscribe. Hoooollly shit, gotta take a deep breath because it's depressing as hell that somebody actually wrote out the sentence in full seriousness. Damn.

I like how she says "this is why he left his fiance" then a few lines later "no wonder his fiance fled." She just said that he left his fiance, but then she changes it to her leaving him to make him seem more ridiculous. This was simply an older guy making sure that something that was important to him would be okay with a potential date before it got too serious. What an idiot she is.

Eh, you make a good point. It's hard when my girlfriend is an actual feminist (hurr no true scotsmen) to condemn feminism like that, but you're pretty much right. The point I was making was that that's not actually what "feminism" is supposed to be.
/r/MensRights27/09/12 05:20 AM

"All men benefit from the patriarchy and oppress women" is an ideological stance of the feminist movement. That's just not true. You're thinking of SRS
/r/MensRights27/09/12 05:09 AM
-6

So I'm assuming that you dislike all christians, all muslims etc for people who do extremist things that don't adhere to their actual tenets?
/r/MensRights27/09/12 04:59 AM

So what if a bunch of people start saying "women are inferior they are all evil and stupid" and call themselves MRA? Does that make it the official position of MRA?
/r/MensRights27/09/12 04:47 AM
-2

Well if feminism actually followed it's tenets, then it would be fine. It's crazed man haters like SRS that call themselves feminists that give it a bad name. My girlfriend is an actual feminist (like, Politics/Feminism major) and she read stuff like SRS and said, "that's not feminism, those people are insane. Real feminists promote equality and not enmity." TL;DR It's not the "harm that feminism does", it's the harm that insane people using the guise of feminism for their misandry do.

"we are makes you look stupid" No, I think you do that all by yourself. And you still haven't responded to my actual argument.

If you read the whole article, they also cut out mother-son ball games. So this wasn't some anti-male crusade. This was just a "we can't have any gender specific events." Which admittedly is a waste of time, but I don't think this is aimed at men. If this subreddit wants to be taken seriously they can't freak out about sensationalist posts like this, I mean this title...seriously?
/r/MensRights19/09/12 03:32 AM

You guys seem to not know what second class citizens means. Are we not allowed to vote? Are we forced into specific jobs? Are we massively underpaid? Are we barred from other jobs/places? No. There are many injustices against men, but in no way are we second class citizens. Saying that we are makes you look stupid and makes all MRA look stupid.
/r/MensRights18/09/12 07:05 PM
-14

Hey, I'm all for mens rights, and I'd consider myself an MRA, but when you say "men are second class" you just sound stupid. Yes there are many imbalances in the justice system, but when every president ever and almost everyone in a position of power is a man then it's obvious we aren't second class citizens.

Well it would be comedy if it wasn't so depressing :/

I'm quite impressed. The part where they tear down his posters that aren't saying anything offensive or related to women at all, then the one women says "you just hate women" and he says "I didn't say that" and she says "DON'T TALK TO ME". And then they say that him trying to stop them taking down HIS posters is him preventing their free speech. Then they go circlejerk about how brave they were on r/srs or r/a+ It's almost comedy at this point

well I stand corrected! At least about it having nerve endings part.

To be fair: No real feminist would say that Probably a troll Circumcision takes away pleasure? What? I beg to differ
