I am a male. I had some great dates through Tinder. All the normal stuff opening doors etc. Great conversations. The pre-date conversations are important. I always went for a phone call after texting for a bit to make sure we could hold a conversation. I did not end up with a GF because I could not find anyone that fit into my single dad who does not want more kids lifestyle and ended up finding someone offline but have hope!

I am a male. I also work investigating sex crimes. Now whether an incident reaches the level of being prosecuted or not is moot in my eyes. Trauma is defined by the person who experiences it. If you go through something that you find traumatic then I will treat you as a victim deserves and point you to all the resources I would point a victim with a prosecutable incident. Any trauma should be taken seriously.

I feel you. At work when I’m stressed and buried in work I have a plan for every case and everything just flows. Once I relax I lose track of everything I’m doing and don’t perform nearly as well.

Some times people are legitimately brought together by a) chemistry or b) they genuinely match each other's personalities or c) fulfill each other's needs. I think Gerry from parks and rec is perfect example of this. A genuinely good guy who gets a beautiful woman. It's impossible to show horn everybody into any narrative.
