I would argue that is because its so widely accepted. As humans we naturally adapt certain behaviours from those around us to fit in. If you are civil about bringing up the logical fallacies in this kind of behaviour, then you are already making progress towards something better. If you just declare war, war you will have... You wont be changing anyones mind, and you become just like them in their naïve belief that you can change peoples minds about something if you berate them enough.

No, I think im with the first guy here. Yes I think these things should have more attention brought to them so thank you for posting, but it's not fair to overgeneralise. I experience these kinds of hopeless women every day, but it doesn't make all women inherently as hopeless as these few. From my personal experience, alot of women have this romanticized idea of a relationship with a man that they have come up with from consuming different kinds of romance content from films/songs throughout their life so much so that they are more in love with their romanticised idea of love than they are with their actual partners. And I'm not saying this is all women, but a large population of young women for certain.

I never thought about the supply and demand aspect. I'm not saying its the only factor but things do make more sense now.
