It's not a minor offense. They'll throw out the recording as not admissible in court for rape allegations or sexual assault allegations. If your at an office get your hr to write a policy that explicitly allows recordings. Even if it is a minor offense they'll tack that on to you. After she does the waterworks. Seriously make sure your in a country / state that allows recordings without consent.

Stop explaining anything. Just say you've been looking. But say every time they throw up red flags like texting during conversation or bringing up that they do drugs. Act frustrated and ask your dad if it gets better. Then when you move out stop caring and say you got snipped. Worked for my family. Get some dumbells and a pull up bar. Then head over to r/bodyweightfitness faq. You can do most(I think all of the) exercises in a 10x10 square. Go outside for walks and get sun. Basement? Undesirable? I think not. Basement is probably the best part of any house. Generally more room, colder, quieter, no sun glare from windows, and more awesome because you're underground.
