Sure, but I just don't think reddit is a reflection of reality. It may be that there are more men dealing with this issue, and I wouldn't be surprised if that were true, but a subreddit isn't great evidence of that.

I will say it's hard to believe you were close enough to a large number of married women that they opened up to you that they didn't want to have sex with their husband, or that their husband didn't want sex.

How many married women are you close to?

That's because there are more men on reddit

I agree in the same way a women should be accountable for chosing who she lets nut inside her, but guess what this don't happen. The entire responsibility and burden is put on the men and on me as a tax payer by proxy. It's on both. 50/50 responsibility. The entire burden is not "on men." Most tax paying women aren't single mothers and/or are not on benefits, and are paying taxes to benefit people that aren't them just like you. And again, men are 50% responsible for single motherhood. Where's…

I like how you made the murderous criminal a man and still blamed women. If men don't want to get a woman pregnant they should not get a woman pregnant. They have a choice. If a man doesn't want to custody or to pay child support don't get a woman pregnant. Women pay taxes so idk where that's even coming from.

Two have a choice to have sex. One doesn't have a choice to get an abortion in many states and countries. But I'm all for paper abortions where abortion is legal.

subside women sexual choices and life choices at the cost of men Are we talking about abortions or pregnancy? The things that take two people?

Tate's advice makes Tate rich. That being said, most young women date for attraction not money. But there will always be women willing to use rich men for their money, so they can make arrangements with those women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 02:07 AM

Luckily the 20-year-olds at starbucks don't date 40+ year old men. Unless they're Leo Dicaprio or a billionaire.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:52 AM

It's just irresponsible. Those poor kids.

Yeah I mean this post is bad. Young men need help just as much as everyone else.

I think we agree that young men today need and deserve help regardless of any privilege of the past. And I think we agree men worked very hard and most men suffered. And I think we agree that the men that worked hard deserve credit. I'm only saying it's unfair to imply that women didn't work hard or suffer and therefore it's ok that they didn't have rights. Women worked very hard too, and contributed in ways that they could and still didn't get certain rights, along with many other groups that w…

But he isn't talking about white men , he is talking about all men in general I think this is one of those things where we can't group all men into a single category. Also When I say contributed, I mean in terms of society most technological and medical advancement, they were mostly as a result of research and sometimes sacrifices made by men that's why it's looks like it catered to them , even the knowlegde was gotten by research sometimes exploration even to the point to the point of serious d…

men contributed heavily to society Yeah, so did women. Society wouldn't exist without the contributions and sacrifices of both. Women worked at every level, in homes, farms, factories, and bore children. It's a myth that women sat around at home and ate cakes while men worked. Yet for some reason women were barred by law from education, voting, property ownership, government positions, etc. So were minorities who contributed tremendously, so were slaves who contributed the most, so were lgbt men…

Maybe you don't see the "card" men play because you don't date men? Men do just as much woman blaming (as we see in your own comment) as women do men blaming. You do realize you're doing exactly what you accuse women of doing (victimization, blaming the other gender, etc.) Plenty off narcissists in both genders, friend.

It's so sad how gay men can't have real male friends. Bisexual people can't have friends at all. Damn. Not only can you can be real friends with someone of the gender you're into. ^(You can also be friends with someone you want to have sex with and choose not to cross that line.)

We should, not worded like that, but we should. Maybe one day we will, once obesity becomes expensive enough.

GDP/capita is not really the best way to measure the relative standard of living, particularly in a country where wealth and income inequality is so high. For example, here's the homelessness rate for Japan, South Korean, and the United States: South Korea: 2 (per 10k)Japan: 0.3 (per 10k)United States: 17.5 (per 10k)Sweden: 36 (per 10k) Homelessness is not a measure of standard of living. Not to mention, every country has a different relative cost of living. Very true. So show me proof that Japa…

I think they can still be plenty picky and avoid these men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 09:08 PM

Is that a result of progressiveness or because of the human and/or general resource capital that they have? Correlation does not equal causation. South Korea and Japan are not really progressive nations by any means, but they technically have a higher standard of living than most of America. Another false claim. South Korea and Japan have a lower standard of living than the US. Look up GDP/capita. This is if you accept the entire progressive narrative as 100% accurate and true — I don't person…

It's not a risk. It just will happen.

No it doesn't. You can do a critical analysis without shaming.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 07:12 PM
2

Well you've made a completely false claim, so I figured I'd point that out since that claim is the foundation of your equilibrium argument, which is just as misguided given that the most progressive societies are the ones with the best human rights, social services, disability services, medical care, etc. No traditional culture that implements shaming isn't oppressive, and it's usually towards women, lgbt, disabled, and the poor/working class first . So you're arguing that we should be more oppr…

why you see a lot of traditional cultures are much better at mitigating negative human behavior Like being gay, being the wrong religion, and keeping rights away from women, leaving your abusive wife/husband. So much better.

Technically sure. Ideally we'd all take perfect care of ourselves all the time. But realistically, the only way obesity will go away is gonna be changing the food industry and doing something about sedentary jobs. It's just not gonna go away otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 05:00 PM

We should only go after those who are close to our average. Why? Why would women not be as picky as possible?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 04:56 PM
2

Be mad at the barely-regulated food industry that sells literal drugs on the shelves. Like if you wanna be realistic about addressing obesity it's the food industry that's the problem combined with being forced into sedentary work.

Shaming doesn't work. It's just a way for bitter people to take their anger and bitterness out on others. We can neither shame nor celebrate bad choices but talk about them reasonably and factually. There's a middle ground, and it's called being reasonable while having empathy. Edit: Also you yourself in this very comment thread have said you don't care if people shame you and it won't change you....cause shaming doesn't work. It's just a way to take your anger and frustration out on others and …

His status/power was a huge part. Most average humans will have neither his status or money. Your example is an outlier and not applicable to most men.

It's hard for either gender to break into an industry dominated by the other gender. Throughout history, there have been times when women/underprivileged groups dominated a high earning career, and were pushed out by men/oppressors/etc. Women once dominated beer-making until it was made so they could no longer do it. Or think about events like the Tulsa massacre. It takes several generations to build wealth, or for an industry to diversify. There's a reason beyond choice to why certain genders a…

Yeah, but women aren't consciously thinking about it. They're not gonna get any matches, say this app sucks, and they'll go to a place where they can meet guys, like a bar or a different app.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/23 11:43 PM

Women would quit the app rather than settle for average dudes they aren't attracted too and go find one irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/23 11:02 PM

No one would use this app. The guys not getting swiped on will continue not getting swiped on. Women will just leave if they aren't getting matches and go to a bar.

Suicide rates are not a good measure of happiness. Suicide rates were lower in the past, even in groups of horrifically abused and/or enslaved/exploited. Then, add to that lack of data from the past, and the fact that openly saying you're unhappy has become more socially acceptable.

Wait till you hear about how capitalism works. But in all honesty, this isn't just dating. There are people born that will never have to worry about paying rent, or poverty, or hunger, or health problems, or finding a partner. All we can do is the best with what we're given, or there's no point.

According to statistics, people are having less sex than ever, yet society is at it's most peaceful. Sex/relationships don't cause or prevent wars. Wars aren't started by sexless men. In fact I'd argue sexless men are more apathetic and much less likely to fight in wars willingly.

If you didn't know what a crocodile was, then I'd say obtaining facts/data would be very important. We've just all been exposed to the data: seeing crocs, watching them attack things, etc. When it comes to the claims you're making I'd say it would be important to define your terms and account for culture. What does "a bunch of men" mean. Three people or three hundred? Then we have to look at how much preference is just influenced by culture, which may impact your point of view. I think the point…
