The systemic sexism in academia being the fact that the majority of historical institutions were men only, and women weren't allowed to apply to study at them. But please do feel free to provide some examples of historical educational institutions that allowed men and women to study side by side. The few institutions that women could attend were women-only prep schools that limited curriculum to household management. In Europe in the last century, women were not allowed to keep their wages if th…

All women were ALLOWED to do was get married in many cases. With no feasible access to education, they couldn't financially support themselves, so ignoring the betrothals suggested would lead to a high risk of homelessness. Your clothing comparison is not at all logical: all men with funding had access to education, whereas only men who actually attended the military got free clothing. In both cases, women were denied access to both education and denied access to military service so would not be…

I would say that being banned from the majority of educational institutions in your country due to your gender definitely counts as "not allowed an education", the majority of things in life are not quantative absolutes, as you seem keen to be suggesting. They had to fight for any chance to become educated, as well as have the necessary funding that other male students had to have (which is why I will agree that there was and still is a classist system in place in education).

No one denies their existence, you're twisting words to suit your agenda: feminists claim that women weren't allowed an education and so praise these examples of famous women who managed to reach the tops of their fields despite the barriers in place to stop women studying. using Marie Curie as an example, she literally had to join a non-traditional learning institute (a floating university), as higher educational institutions of the time would not allow women to study. Regardless of whether a w…

I mean, those women showcased their intelligence in spite of the systemic sexism that surrounded them in academia and in the STEM fields. Let's not try to misuse their names and accomplishments here. You cannot compare the legal right to earn a wage and legally be allowed to keep it in peacetime, against conscription during tikes of war. They're apples and oranges. I 100% agree on your last point, up until recently it was only the wealthy who had real autonomy. And since the VAST VAST majority o…

Honestly how can you be so confidently incorrect? Fertility and risk of complications to fetal health increase in both genders with age. It's common knowledge. If you're so set in your opinion at least provide some data to back it up.

Uh huh, so the women who were bombed civilians in WW2, the women on the front lines in supply chains and nursing, the women working in the unsafe factories whilst men were at war, the women who asked to fight on the front lines but were told by men in power they weren't allowed to? Of course we can then look at the infanticide statistics throughout history and even today, and how skewed it is towards killing young girls, we can talk about how dangerous it was throughout history to be giving birt…

? I'm thin, white and 6/6/6. Huh, sounds mildly racist, cool okay. I've got nothing to show but a couple of first dates pre-covid that went nowhere. You've literally just admitted that you're average looking, you got first dates, and then once your dates got to know you over that date they decided to not date you further. Sounds to me like a problem with your personality, not an OLD/physical looks problem.

"Only among the lower classes did people marry consistently for reasons of love or sexual desire. In general, however, peasant marriages were not common, as there was little need for a formal exchange of property among the poor." source Only those in the upper classes used marriage as a tool to benefit the family. Most people (if they even bothered to marry) did it for love.

How is playing video games on the sofa all day classified as ambitious?? Like yeah sure if they were working part time and had a desk set up with a streaming channel then sure. But the majority of people who play video games don't do this, sooo.

By your logic, because a minority of Germans were nazis, we should hate germans. Just because a minority of feminists are "feminazis", doesn't mean they all are. Feminism is about gender equality, for any gender.

Just because everyone is using it doesn't mean it is correct to use in this context. Fertility (sperm count or egg viability) has nothing to do with this conversation. Fertility decline is physiological, not socialogical. The previous user wrote that the RP was linked to fertility decline. When I corrected this, you chimed in and said they meant childbirth. Either way, you're now agreeing with me that neither fertility nor childbirth is influenced by RP ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 06:03 PM
1

No. I think you might be getting conception rates and childbirth mixed up with fertility. A person will be fertile regardless of their ideologies mate. And I get your point in theory, except the vast majority of men aren't redpilled, yet we're still seeing a decline. Lack of financial stability and education are much more likely to be influencing childbirth decline than redpilled men. Childbirth rates are much more likely to be influenced by factors related to women, than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 10:30 PM
1

The other commenter is still incorrect: fertility or lack of is not linked to redpill/otherwise idealogy. And maybe next time write childbirth not fertility, as they aren't the same thing, as you've just explained. To be honest, redpill doesn't affect childbirth either, as inevitably it's women at the moment who have more control over their bodies and pregnancy and not many women are redpill so. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but you're right that childbirth rates are likely more socialogical than environmental.

Fertility has nothing to do with redpill, wtf. A person will be fertile regardless of whatever social construct we believe in. Without researching it, I can only presume that declining fertility in both genders will be linked to pollutants in our environment.

Ah, that website isn't available in the EU, rip. I mean, sounds you're cherry picking and making a lot of assumptions on that data too. If it says 40-50%, we can't really ignore that unless it gives an explicit breakdown of single parents stats influencing it? I mean, here in the UK, everyone gets child benefits, no matter their wage or tax bracket. So I couldn't comment. "Simply put, marriages were more likely to end in divorce when the wife was ill but not when the husband was ill. " Proven by multiple sources, but the specific quote was taken from here. Men are likely to bail on frail/ill wives, than women would with their husbands. So um that: No woman is giving you what a man give you Is bs.

I mean, I'm childfree so I wouldn't know or care, but many people chat shit about wanting a legacy, and Im assuming it's the perception of time passing that caused those thoughts.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 09:50 PM

No, the previous commenter wants to do a poll of women's opinions on partnership leadership, you're going to have to gasp talk to women to get an answer. Trying to play the whole "women don't know what they want" is just you trying to use a straw man to get out of asking women what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 01:32 PM
3

Cool, I assume you'll be running the poll on Twitter or Facebook, not on Reddit, since the demographic of Reddit is rather skewed. Also by running on Facebook it will allow us to filter our responses based on gender, as in this we'll be more curious on the answers from women. If we polled Reddit, with its demographic being skewed male we would have a lot of data points that would be "what we think women want" rather than "what women actually want".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 12:28 PM
5

28 is, in terms of perception, what many will consider to be our half life. The way we perceive time passing changes as we get older. For example, a year to a ten year old is a tenth of their life, whereas a year to a fifty year old is a blink. That why many see their thirties disappear so quickly. I wonder whether that perception shift has an impact on those suddenly wanting a legacy, of which the easiest legacy to produce is their children.

You're moaning online anonymously about men's health, but you aren't willing to do anything about it. I know what the truth is; men's mental health is in decline, and unsupported. But your comment on saying we should focus on men's health over women's via the use of the suicide statistic doesn't work, since when you account for attempts then the stats are pretty equal. We should be focusing on general mental health regardless of gender. But if you want to push explicitly for men's health then yo…

Talking with someone on an anonymous internet forum does not make an awareness campaign. Especially in one as polarising as this place.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 10:02 PM
1

Then petition for it with your local council, set up a charity to push for misdiagnosis if you believe it's a big issue? Raise awareness, set up a rally, petition to local organisations. Actually do something. I believed the paternity leave rules in my workplace were poor so I joined their employee resource group to chase the contract changes. I did something. You can't expect change to happen without doing anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 07:18 PM
1

Something can be technically correct but still misleading. There is no gendered weighting in suicide attempts, Which is the important statistic. Medical Help is not tailored to women, it's tailored to men. Literally so many studies and articles on it, so many in fact that there is even a Wikipedia article about the discrimination women face, that is fully sourced.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 06:41 PM
1

I don't disagree with you there, I just correcting you on your misleading statement on suicides. Men don't want to seek help, and when women do seek help, often the bias in medical text and trial means misdiagnosis or further harm is caused, especially since women are often not believed.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 05:58 PM
1

I get your point, but I could turn around in response and say You just don't know how many male female suicide tries go unnoticed. Statistically, men are more successful at suicide, but the attempt stats tell a more balanced story. And we can only go off stats reported.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 03:18 PM
5

Women are just as likely to try and commit suicide as men are, you realise? Men are just better at choosing quicker methods. Women are more likely to OD which can be reversed, whereas men are more likely to use quicker methods (gun/hanging/tall building). Male mental health is extremely important, especially in the age of social media promoting stoicism. but your statement is misleading.

Eeeeeh, both activities can't be described as cheating but are likely to make your partner uncomfortable, especially if deception is involved. I would say they are comparable. The emotional conversations with other guys could lead to cheating in real life. And watching porn could lead to cheating or hiring a prostitute as the watcher wants a more immersive experience? Idk man. If you're having to deceive, then there is obviously something wrong imo.

Condoms when used correctly do not reduce sensitivity to the extent that nothing is felt. If they do, then you may have a size too small (too tight on the shaft), or too large (bunching on the shaft allowing the condom to move along the shaft during thrusts). And reduced sensitivity is much more palatable than reducing your partner's physical and mental health, surely you agree? All other birth control methods have common side effects.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 06:22 PM

But you know what doesn't hurt at all? Using a condom.

Pain is extremely common upon insertion, and complications are quite common. They are uncomfortable for the majority of women, but in many places it is the only option feasible due to its semi-permanence. Only 1% of American women and 8% of European women have used an IUD. Majority of users are from less developed countries, where being able to access (and cover the costs of) hormonal BC is less common.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 10:30 AM

It isn't about what is more or less common/expected, it's about the fact that it is the least intrusive option to stop pregnancy. Imagine if your partner said 'i don't like you wearing a condom, so I want you to have gel injected into your balls instead' or if she asked you to use the male hormonal contraceptive that's been trialed (the one with the same side effects that female BC has; depression, weight gain, libido impact). /r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 07:40 PM

Just use a condom? Just as safe when used correctly, you'll know if it has failed and need to grab the morning after pill, and keeps you protected during the newer stage of the relationship. It also does not hurt to put on or take off, and is no way near as intrusive as the IUD. But regardless, none of these methods are 100% effective, and why would you want to trade in to that monthly fear whenever a period is late?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 04:53 PM

I'm having a hard time responding to you, because I appreciate that you want to take in the supportive role in the household, but I fear you don't understand the restrictions that come in place with this. When you don't earn money, you can often find yourself in a position of being 'kept', where you have no money to spend on your own hobbies, even buying a book or a phone can be considered too expensive when it's the partner having to earn that money for you. And the majority of women aren't val…

You'd trade the monthly chronic pain that are periods, plus the likely chronic pain associated with childbirth, so you can stay at home? Dude, get someone to hit you with their car, you can claim benefit and stay at home forever with the same effects. But you also should realise that the majority of couples cannot afford to live a comfortable life on just one wage. Oh yay, an intrusive device that hurts to insert and remove, that is well known for worsening menstrual cycles and causing damage to the uterine lining. Not to mention the allergic reactions that can occur from the metals they are made of. And of course, any of the above can further impact the already below 100% pregnancy prevention efficiency.

Really? You're telling me that once someone has a billion, after that they'll be doing anything else valuable to themselves or humanity by hoarding that money/asset? I think it's hard when going into the nuances. You're right, as a point blank statement you are right, but in earnings and social status. Men of all race have the 'privilege' of safety in themselves (with women being generally less strong, more likely to be raped or sexually assaulted etc.), But men of non-white races have the issue of systemic racism in police forces that then puts them at risk, safety wise. Of course, in measuring women against men (in what this sub is about), you would logica…

"men built everything" because women weren't allowed to. Up until more recent times, women weren't allowed in most educational institutions that taught the necessary knowledge in engineering and architecture for civil projects. Also, be careful about your moon project since the vast majority of the coding for that was completed by women. I think all children are inherently selfish before they develop empathy, and I think it's very easy for boys to let this develop into a sense of selfishness that can trigger violent tendencies when they fail to recognise others sense of self. Omg if you want to date or find an LTR then don't use tindr. Tindr is LITERALLY designed to only match people based on looks. Thats like me running a study in The_Donald and concluding that all redditors must be racists. Women in general don't focus as much on looks (though they do play a factor, just not as big as is promoted here), but of course women on tindr judge by looks, there is nothing else to judge on pre-match.

Are you serious, it is already a known fact that the older women decide to have children the child is more likely to have birth defects Yes, it's a well known fact that birth defects kick in as fertility decreases, aka in their forties same as men. Can you not read? "Biological clock" "epiphany phase" "wall" are all phrases made up from stereotypes, there is no evidence of these being accurate, once you disregard articles without any sort of data backing them up.

Male high n count does not correlate with looks and status nearly as much as you think it does. It correlates with charisma. Also, noone is grossed out by virgins like you've written. That's not a thing. Your comment is a winding post of personal insecurity about your virginity, and the jealousy men feel about women having sex, just not with them. You then try to hide it behind the pseudoscience that is Evo bio, and you just come across as promoting a double standard.

For fertility, late twenties is in no way too late . Very late thirties, early forties is when fertility in women (and also in men) starts to decline. Up to 40, and conceiving stats are around 75% in their first year (while it is around 85% for women in their twenties), so there isn't anything more than a negligible difference. And you've already agreed it isn't about looks. So what is it about?

So the vast majority of my country (western Europe) don't use the internet outside of Facebook and checking the weather. Reddit, Twitter and other social media platforms are very much echo chambers of the minority. This place really does not portray my country, at all.

Cool, so I'm assuming you also have a very low n-count too, else you're putting your future partner at risk for cheating on them. Since half of your studies are not measuring just women, but men too.

This!! I don't see a problem at all with people having preferences with who they have sex with, my only issues are when a. the double standards kick in (I want to have casual sex but then want to settle down with a virgin), or b. when folks start shaming others for their activities, n-counts or preferences. It's dumb. a human who also needs a deeper connection

Literally up to the age of 40 and women aren't even struggling to conceive. The common metaphor of the biological clock is incorrect. And around the ages of 40 fertility in men starts to decline, just as it does in women. You'll obviously get outliers, but it's more obvious with older men as they date down (with younger fertile pre-40s women), whereas women are less likely to date men younger (more fertile) than them. So you'll see more examples of older father's than older mother's.

And you're a bloke only for fucking, since it sounds like you're high-n count too (since you're able to classify between marriageable women and fucking women). So noone will want to marry you either. Hope you enjoyed your cunt carousel while it lasts my dude.

There is a massive difference between sleeping with multiple people, and the infidelity that comes with paternity concerns. The former is sleeping with people whilst not in a relationship (no problem), the latter is cheating on a partner (obviously bad). There is no correlation here.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 09:37 AM

There's a difference between having a preference (which is fine), and then moaning / shaming other for their high-n count (not fine). Imagine if I said "I don't want to have sex with men because I'm a lesbian" versus "all men are disgusting and I don't why anyone would want to sleep with them". Can you see why the former statement is acceptable and the latter isn't? You're sounding like the latter.

We are not hired by managers, we are hired by HR teams, you realise? And any firing or redundancy is managed by them. And HR teams are usually majority female. So if anything the majority of employees are dependent on women. But my manager is female so I guess I don't have to worry anyway. But in honesty, my opinion is still that you are hired by an organisation, not a singular person. Yeah but you aren't relying on your boss, you're not being paid by your boss? You're being paid by the company you work for. And even if the gender of your boss did matter, it's still a much better position for a woman to be in: if you don't like your job, or your boss, or the field of work, you can move and get another job relatively easily. It's a lot harder to do that in a marriage where you are fully financially dependent on the person 'paying' you, and also probably dependent on them for sh…

Could you give me a source that says women stayed at home and looked after the children whilst men went out and worked throughout history (like you've stated) please? What I've read in the past was that before the world wars, everyone worked with a more community and extended family based child care model, and post-war there was a push to get women out of the shrinking job market so the 1950s nuclear household model was pushed in media. Right okay let's talk about exporting culture: Height preference is cultural, not evolutionary. That's why Latin America and Asia don't care that much about height. Two massive continents of people there. For the rest of the world, the western European culture has been exported into those colonies (north america, africa, indo-subcontinent), generating a historical cultural preference that traditionally prefers taller men. Which shows that between work outside and inside the house, women work more.

Sex isn't a need, the need you're thinking of is intimacy, or skin contact. Like many have said, our ancestors were very social creatures. But being social and needing intimacy don't mean sex. Physical contact via hugs and cuddling with family and friends more than cover this need. If a person is struggling for that, they need to work on their platonic relationships. Of course the paper is going to back up what he's saying, if he wrote it? I just think it's a tad disingenuous to use your own work as a source, esp…

Video games are NOT the reason why millennial and gen z earnings are down. Earnings are down because wages haven't watched inflation. And we'll have to agree to disagree, hobbies don't have to be economically productive to be considered a 'good hobby'. Also I gotta ask then, what your hobbies are to be taking such a high horse stance? You realise a good book can also trigger a chemical response right? And playing chess too, and boardgames with your family? Does that mean we should not have these…

If the sources are in your paper, why have you not just shared the sources??? Us reading the sources would not impact your paper then I'm so confused?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/21 05:10 PM

So your source is a paper you've written yourself? When using sources one needs to ensure unbias and reliability. By the fact you're in this subreddit, I would be very weary of presuming your paper is without bias. And by using your own paper, it would be very hard for you to review the paper for bias, as it will obviously be confirming your own. But I would still be curious to read it :)

Don't get me wrong, I know peoples who spend too much time playing video games. But what makes a video game different from a TV series, or a book? Or doing some knitting, or any of the hobbies that aren't really productive? A purpose of a hobby isn't to be a side hustle, it's to de-stress and unwind from the work that we do, it doesn't need to add financial value? I constantly get stuck in my mindsight that my hobbies should be financially productive, or be quaint enough to be socially beneficia…

Didn't you know, if a man has sex too much his dick slowly shrivels up and erodes from having too much sex, the minor acidity of all the vaginas he's had sex with will wear his dick away? So if there is any sort of wrinkle on their dick (when its either flaccid or hard) then you know they're a slut /s.

In regards to your first comment I agree entirely. I believe men should step in yes, just as I believe that women should step in if a person is making a sexist joke towards a man (good lord do I hate the 'oh look, daddy is babysitting')(he is not babysitting do not demean his position as a father). If someone says something rude to another, then they think they are in the right and nothing the latter can say will truly change their opinion. But if another (third) person steps in (especially some…

Well, the stats further down say that 85% of the new cases seen in women were through heterosexual contact, so I'd assume that at least for every women in that bracket, there would be a man being told they have HIV since that's where the stats say they're getting it from? I wouldn't know in regards to the gender bias in medical checkups, everyone I knew (men and women) used to get tested pretty often at uni if they were having new sexual contact regularly.

There's nothing to fix, I wrote 'for example gay men' so I don't understand what you're trying to say? People who are penetrated during sex are more at risk, due to those areas being more likely to trap bacteria. For every woman who catches a disease there is a man who is passing it on to her though? And you do realise Chlamydia can cause infertility in men too as well, and gonorrhoea too? You're just as at risk as a woman is. So your whole logic of severity of risk is bs. Look, shame women for …

I mean only 20% of HIV cases are women, so men are four times as likely to get HIV so your statement on women being more prone to STDs is misleading. We can all pull stats out but correlation is not causation. It's bring penetrated that puts a person at higher risk: so basically any person who has sex with someone who has a dick is at risk (women, gay men, etc.) If every sex act includes protective measures (which is a different conversation)(and lets be honest, women are likely to push for cond…

"By that logic women shouldn't wear provocative clothing if some men feel aroused by it. Surely you don't agree with that, right ?" And you must agree with men having to cover up their faces and bodies if they're ugly then, since ugly men make me and many others feel repulsed (an emotion that is usually considered the opposite of aroused)? My point being that you cannot compare safety, (which is considered a human right in most western countries regardless of gender) to emotions that can and sho…

Sourced from Gender Differences in patterns and trends in US Homicides Of overall homicides (1976-2017), 18.8% were female victims killed by men, whilst 2.0% were female victims killed by women. So women are over nine times more likely to be killed by a man, than a woman. From that, we can assume that women are safer around other women than they are around men, which was the claim of the redditor above you in the conversation chain.

Ah, it was aimed at the comment above you. Admittedly a very vague way of agreeing with you. The redditor having a sex dungeon is only (at most) tangentially related to he topic, it just sounds like they're trying to find an opportunity to say 'i have sex'.

Why on earth would anyone choose the less comfortable route when it provides no benefit though? There is no financial benefit to choosing blue collar labour or more dangerous jobs when the office based STEM fields exist. If someone said to you, 100k a year pay either way, choose between a STEM office job or become a plumber, you'd go office work. Because it's more interesting, less tiring, less strain on the body, and probably comes with better job perks. Anybody would. So I'm struggling to see …

Tl;dr you're saying women don't know what men want (and this, to me sounds like a problem). Errr, what? Oh, ok. I guess. I mean, some do want me in particular, and some get to have me for a while. It's a fair trade kind of transaction, as I see it. Women and men, in general, though? Not sure. I don't know enough to know for sure, and the dynamic is,... well, dynamic. Kinda like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get. I said if women don't know what men want then this needs to be res…

You've never spoken to an elderly plumber if you think they don't end up with chronic health problems, knees especially. Also, dealing with shit = a major health risk in itself. So again, by your logic, Men are dumb for choosing high risk jobs.

As I responded to another comment, the chronic negative impacts of trade jobs (knee and back problems the most common) are effects I would never recommend to anyone. And of course, dealing with literal shit brings its own health risks. Why don't you ask every experienced plumber / carpenter / electrician in their mid forties what their overall general health is like? The knee problems / back problems / hand problems associated in all of these blue collar trade jobs are not immediately visible, but are definitely insidious and chronic. Yes but why would you go risk your life for six figures when you can get some training and not risk your life for six figures? You're blaming women for not filling the job deficit in these career fields, when you should be instead blaming those fields for having unsafe working conditions that exploit their (primarily male) workers. In regards to debt: firstly you don't have to go into debt to get into well paying STEM fields. But even if someone (whether male or female) chooses to go into debt, …

I get that you should know your BF, your husband, your dad, your brother: just as you should know your wife, GF, sister and mother. But why are you implying that it's a women's role to know nebulously what men want? Surely men can use their words and explain what they want, eh? Especially in the context of men helpin…

I mean, the only women only classes I've seen are self defense classes, which I feel like I agree with, with it being a class with much physical contact that is taught for the safety of the learner, it isn't really a hobby. I've seen no exclusion in schools nor in hobby groups. The gym is a hard one, I know many girls feel unsafe using 24/7 gyms; but my main point comes back to: there are many gyms in a city. Women only classes do not stop the unisex classes from occurring. And if you want a men…

Okay so you were fortunate enough to not be bullied or isolated for the same traits that many of us were. Congrats, I guess? But yeah the race analogy does make sense, you're wanting to exclude someone from your group based on a characteristic they cannot control, rather than including them for having an interest in the groups purpose for meeting. And yes, It would be equally bad if a group of black kits set up a hobby group and excluded white kids. Just as you didn't have anyone to nerd with at…

So I just want to get this straight: your comment suggests that you may have been bullied or at least isolated from certain friendship groups because of an aspect of yourself you couldn't (and shouldn't have to) control. Your nerdiness. Enjoying video games, playing DnD, some light coding and programming, that kind of thing. But when female nerds want to join in your shared interests, it's a big no? You've raised no new points, and are having to lean on another users comment, that (unfortunately for your rhetoric) didn't 'school me'; if you had actually read their 'research' properly you'll find it either out of date or is actually backing up my argument. Their quotes are taken out of context in a woeful attempt to find logical evidence. If it's so obvious it should be sooo easy for you to find the evidence to back up your woollen opinions. But you cant, because your opinions are just that.

Your entrepreneur article summarises in its abstract that "Together, our results suggest that women’s disadvantages in leading their businesses may be perpetuated by gender beliefs that discount women’s leadership" which backs up my third link: that a woman's main disadvantage in leadership is that people will doubt her purely because of her gender, regardless of actual capability. you're either a troll or extremely delusional. I'm not even going to touch on most of what you have said: women are not projecting their tyrannical rule onto men. men and women are more likely seeing the dynamic from the previous generation: their fathers disrespect, name calling and cheating directed at their mothers. And either will copy it or break the cycle, regardless of gender. Also I love that your idea of a stay at home wife/husband at no point mentions the cleaning of the house (the mos…

So the common factors used to measure quality of life are usually life length, mental and physical health (both diagnosed, and extrapolated from survey), using happiness index markers to understand contentment, and perhaps a fiscal measure related to mental health (to understand impact of financial stress). If you read the studies properly it will provide you with an in depth background of the demographic being studied too, as this can have an impact on results obviously. The ones I've read are …

To play devils advocate, we have all seen the studies where mens quality of life is improved when married, whilst women's quality of life actually decreases. So from this, we can make a similarly broad statement to the ones in your OP that actually, women improve men's life in a relationship, whilst men do not improve women's. The argument that I've seen others use in this thread, that 'well men built civilization, etcetera' does not hold in this discussion, since we are discussing 1-to-1 in the…

I have to say though, I think a large part of that lack of diversity in women's porn is due to the fact that the market is so small. A lot of women don't watch porn, so it's safer to make it with conventionally attractive people to cover most of your bases. Whereas the market for men's porn is larger (as more blokes watch it) so it allows the market to create more niche genres. After all, the most famous porn stars that folks could name are all still stupidly hot (conventionally attractive) men …
