30 year marriage circling the drain. Having 2nd thoughts...I'm baffled by this and I'm in it. I had to come to terms with the fact that serious life events can significantly change a person, and there by change the relationship for the worse. Our marriage wasn't perfect, but I felt secure in it and there was trust and love. The issues we encountered about 4 years ago caused us each to make bad decisions that ultimately led us to this. A cautionary tale I guess. Never coast, never use cruise control. A marriage takes effort, even to the end. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/08/23 01:06 AM
Would this (on the surface) be an example of Betabux? Is the wife cheating? What’s going on here…Ok, so we agree that we should avoid calorie dense foods | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/23 06:24 PM
Would this (on the surface) be an example of Betabux? Is the wife cheating? What’s going on here…10 ounces of sugar has 1097 calories. 10 ounces of 80% lean hamburger has 720 calories. Not to mention the thermic effect of eating protein is higher. This means it takes calories to process protein. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/23 04:55 PM

if withholding sex is not a good way to secure commitment, then what is?you should use this knowledge to make him feel like you want him so badly it hurts, "but we have to wait because I'm not that kind of girl." And make him feel like it's just around the corner, not months and months away. So... Gaslighting. Got it. make him feel like it's just around the corner, not months and months away. Intentionally have him believe one thing, when in reality it's a different thing. This is ridiculously manipulative. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/08/23 12:51 PM

I'm confused on the overall stance women have on approachingWay back when I was single I once asked a woman out to a church event. I made it clear I wanted to take her as a date. She initially agreed then called a couple days later claiming she had to drive her niece and nephew to the event. I offered to drive her and them too, but she declined. To me, her decline seemed obvious that she didn't want to go on a date with me after all, so I never asked her again, and she never said anything to me about it after that. I found out several months later (by th… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/07/23 07:06 PM

30 year marriage circling the drain. Having 2nd thoughts...I'm gonna. I posted this trying to sort through my feelings. I'm still conflicted but I know I gotta see this through. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/07/23 05:31 PM
Most people are too punishing over insignificant issues but too accepting of enormous glaring onesI think it's unavoidable to have some red flags in a relationship. Maybe I should use the term "yellow flags". When you're single and dating and living alone you haven't developed the skill set to live with someone . Moving in together is when you develop that skill set. You find out your partner is a messy person - they always cleaned their place when they knew you were coming over before you lived together. You find out your partner has moods and perhaps wants/needs to be alone when they get h… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/23 01:27 PM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman?Explain please | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 11:07 PM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman?Yes, I'm saying I realized I miss understood your comment. You answered the question and I mistakenly understood the question you were answering. I failed twice now to communicate this to you. My bad, not yours | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 07:14 PM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman?I think it is relevant. In my sample of 20 people the average number of sex partners is 1 for both sexes, but the median is zero for men and 1 for women. This statistic is more informative. That is, knowing the median is more informative than knowing the average | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 04:43 PM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman?Slow your roll there hoss. I'm not black pill. I could have flipped the sexes with my example and made the same argument. I was arguing that the question being asked is important | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 04:38 PM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman? You're calculating the average number of partners (body count). It dawned on me after I first posted that you may be answering a different question, which is why I said in my edit that the question being asked is important too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 04:36 PM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman? The average number of sexual partners among heterosexual men va women does have to be the same, mathematically. This isn't true. Consider a sample of 10 men and 10 women. All 10 women in this sample have slept with the same 1 man. The other 9 men have had no sex. The men's average is 0.1 (1/10), the women's average is 1.0 (10/1). You may be trying to say something else, but saying it "has to be the same mathematically" is false. Edit to elaborate. If you ask these 20 people if they are sexually … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 11:22 AM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman?Could many women potentially have lots and lots of sexual partners each year? Probably, yes Isn't that the point though? The reality is that a man has to put in effort to get multiple partners. A women has to look pretty and say yes. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 11:12 AM
What is the reality of the sex life of the average woman?I knew a guy who could pull. He had serious game. He hooked up with different women at least 3-4 per week. With that being said he swiped right on all his apps he used literally all day while at work. He told me it was a numbers game. More swipes meant more hookups. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/07/23 11:05 AM

RPW Adapted: The Trinity of Security, Status, EscapeI thought adding the disclaimer I'm a guy would be appropriate in a forum for women so that the reader can make their own decision to consider or dismiss my comment. Rule 9 says... "The men who can provide the most valuable advice are: older, married, and long time participants in the RP community." I'm 50 and have been married for 30 years. I can't say I'm active in RP, but frankly, that's because I never needed to be. My wife loved and respected me in a very traditional way, and I loved and re… | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/06/23 10:12 PM
RPW Adapted: The Trinity of Security, Status, EscapeThis is a very good post. Thanks for sharing. I only wish I had come across it when my marriage was taking a nose dive. We might have been able to save it. (I'm a guy btw) | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/06/23 07:18 PM

Advice: How to be supportive while maintaining “fairness”No kids? If so... "We're both pretty busy with our jobs, and I've found I can't keep up with all the housework if I have to clean up after both of us. Going forward why don't we do this. You clean up after yourself and I'll clean up after myself and we hire a maid to come vacuum and mop once a week. We'll split that bill. Sound good?" Even if you can't afford a maid, this will open a dialogue and you can perhaps divide the non-specific chores (like vacuuming) but certainly insist he clean up aft… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/05/23 02:55 PM

30 year marriage circling the drain. Having 2nd thoughts...We did that for 4 years. We're past talk. Either I accept her for who she is (she refuses to change or accept her part in our issues), or I leave. I've decided to leave, but a small piece of me still tugs at the notion that I vowed "till death do us part". Of course, she made her vows too and isn't honoring them... | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/05/23 03:02 PM

30 year marriage circling the drain. Having 2nd thoughts...Kids are adults. She works and earns about the same as I earned up until about 2 years ago when I switched jobs and got a very big raise which is now triple her income. Our problems came to light before my job switch, and when I switched jobs it required a move (location). My wife actually left me intending to divorce me then, but I blindly tried to make it work and begged her to stay. A decision I greatly regret cuz it only got worse. She acts like this new beta-cuck I've become (which I brough… | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/05/23 07:47 PM
