The real tragedy here Is taking advice from a guy that thinks "Somebody that I used to know" is a way to pluck a girls heart strings. If Gotye is ever my anchor, I am cutting lose to drift in the sea of dignity that is good musical taste.

It's not a matter of swapping values. This isn't a like kind exchange. You increase your value by girls you all ready know by demonstrating value. Interactions between friends have little to no memory and are easily replaced by new feelings/interactions. One surefire way to "keep your value where it is" is to get hung up on this. Pretend it didn't happen. You will be better off for it.

Tough to date women in "the industry" if you are a white collar 9-5. Different schedules, different lifestyles, being hit on 24/7. I am not a jealous person, very much the opposite, but a little insight into the industry tells me the game is totally different.
