In 1918 they would have a few mask between various docs and nurses. They would reuse them and pass them between each other. They also had poor handwashing if any at all. I would like to think you are able to understand how that trasmits disease. If I'm wrong....speak to anyone who works in medicine or science who deals with infection control. Ask them if masks are bulshit.
