I'm not sure how to reconcile the "All it takes is righteous confidence" concept with all the stuff about letting go of one's ego. Can someone please explain the difference between righteous confidence and ego?

Apex Fallacy: we're either the shit or we don't exist. This is why many women are unwilling to understand or even attempt to acknowledge the concept of male suffering. Because if a man is suffering in any way, shape, or form, he is not 100% and therefore cannot be "the shit" to her.

We’re busy dominating the world By doing what, exactly? Because you got a title promotion that now makes you a VP even though you're really just a salesperson like everyone else? There's around 20 VPs at the company I work at, you are not special. Maybe I'm reading too far into it but I feel like there's a massive difference in terms of language used by men and women when it comes to describing their jobs. The other night I had dinner with some friends from high school. 2 guys who have good entr…

I somehow feel depressed and angry/bitter at how things have turned out. I've managed not to treat women with hatred, although, I've met so many bad women, seen so much and experienced their true nature that I can't be bothered anymore. I feel like I've made great strides in the last few months in terms my MGTOW-ness but I also struggle with this to a certain extent like you do. After being plugged in and blue pill for one's whole life it can be difficult to let old habits go. I recommend develo…

This guy got no chill. Actually, for real, never even noticed that before. I will be using 180 from now on, thank you for that.

Here's what has helped me so far during my red pill/MGTOW journey: Do NOT talk about red pill/MGTOW (sound familiar?). Do not try to rationalize it, do not attempt to explain yourself to people, do not even try and float the concepts in conversation to see if the people around you are also secret MGTOWs. People will not understand it. The concepts are so radical and against our cultural norms and modern society in general that you might only end up alienating yourself in ways you didn't anticipa…

It is not my job to save the world, nor is it within my power. I'm going to write that down and keep it with me every day as a reminder. I'm also very glad you brought this up, especially the part where you mentioned your own "social conditioning." I've been very open in some of my previous posts about how susceptible I am to my own social conditioning and I'm glad someone else is able to admit it as well. The fact is that no matter how MGTOW or "red pill" many of us within the manosphere claim …

The funniest part of that movie, or any romantic comedy for that matter, is if you watch it backwards it's about a man who decides to go his own way. XD But in all seriousness, you're right. The film basically promotes the idea that the only way a man could think that is if he were a huge asshole. And while he's at it, he might as well be a racist and a homophobe too. It's all part of the lie we're sold, that a man needs a woman in order to discover his emotions, his empathy for others, his abil…

Still more present a false front of success on the outside but behind the scenes are miserable This is modern Western women summed up in one sentence. Even if they want for nothing and have minimal issues facing them, they will invent problems for themselves.

I don’t care about making heaps of money...I’d rather work 3-4days a week, (enough to cover rent and bills) and not have to deal with the rest of the world...I can live quite contently on 12-13 grand a year. I even plan someday to possibly fall off grid and live in a camper/travel van. Drive around and travel to different places eating different cuisine and learning about cultures first hand. Learn about many trades" I read those lines as you already having unplugged, but perhaps I should have s…

Of course your professor wants you to take that "higher" job, he's a member of the academic community that continues to sell the lie that "if you do [this], [this], and [this], you will be 'happy'/'successful'." And you're surrounded by other young people who are 100% concerned with things such as how others see them in terms of their job and/or how much sex they have because of their perceived social value. I am also 23 and I just recently escaped that environment. Most people would say "just d…

Thank you for this honest reply. I should have been more clear, I don't need the emotional satisfaction to be happy, it's just something that I haven't found a way to control yet. Furthermore, I don't believe that "happiness" exists, only a sort of contentment with occasional sustained bursts of positive energy. I went through the anger phase my senior year of college, it was extremely difficult but I saw how I had been lied to my whole life. Right now I see myself in a combination of the bargai…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
