I tried it for other races too, none of them are the same. All individual black, Latina, Asian women, no men in sight. This is some weird fucking shit.

Wow, really?! I thought anything above GS5 was for people with years of experience, not fresh out of university. I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. How long have you been working in the system? Part of the reason why I want to go military is the secret clearance and increased chances of finding work, but of course that comes with many trade offs. This is extremely helpful though, I had absolutely no idea how any of that works. I certainly wish I had posted earlier. Thank you again and hopef…

Thanks for the detailed response. I’ve been trying to reach recruiters directly through LinkedIn or email, but haven’t had much luck. Looking at people not in HR may be the ticket. I’ve been applying pretty much nationwide, but I need to let them know I’m serious about moving, somehow.

Thank you for that tip. I’ve been applying on USAjobs regularly for GS-5 tier jobs, but have been uploading doc/pdf resumes instead of building one on the site. I’ll make sure to do that from now on - it might explain why I haven’t heard back much. The Manager job will pay me roughly 2x as much, but since I live at home right now the sacrifices may not be worth it.
