If a girl friend-zones you, you, as a man, have to decide in that moment, whether you are capable of having her around as just a friend^1, or not. If you cannot honestly say yes, you decline and walk away. If you can, and you are capable of accepting reality for what it is, then I'd say accept the friendship, but you've got to be sure to let her play her role as the friend.
