TRP is definitely more about inner game than any PUA out there, but RSD for example requires inner game over outer game and is what led me here. That's why I said the issue was composition. Not all PUA is the same and although your correct about 90%+ of PUA subcommunities due to your vast experience with them, not all exclude nor downplay the usefulness of it. Thanks for responding, good to have an older redpiller to talk to.

The dumb approaches that I was taught to use were to force me not to care what the girl thinks and to be totally self amused, which was huge for me in my earlier years. I was nice guyed to death at a young age, so acting like I didn't care about a womens opinion and prioritizing my amusement over them was a big step for myself. Your experiences are probably different than mine, so I can't say that your wrong.

I think the confusion between our opinions is composition. Certain PUA teachers might only teach outer game (which is useful because refining a skill is important) while others teach both. Outer game to me is like someone teaching me 6 different ways to squat, but if I don't have proper form (inner game, SMV) it's totally useless. Although I believe the fake it till you make it is innefficient time-wise it is effective and has some standing in psychology . People who put on nurses clothing and p…

I get where your coming from now, I'm college age and my first and only exposure to PUA was RSD and I primarily watched Todd and Tyler who emphasize inner game (reading, being self amused, eating healthy) a lot. I heard that early PUA was based on trying to get a positive response from a woman and snowballing from there, so I assume that's what your criticizing, to which I totally agree with.

I think the posts on how to approach women are just specific advice for one area of a person's life, just like you wouldn't want to see this entire sub talk about how you should workout and diet. PUA that I've experienced taught that inner game (internalizing ideas/concepts) is more important than outer game (posture, eye contact, kino). In the same way a sword is more important than sharpening it, but both are necessary for an effective weapon. learning PUA does cultivate people's persona, beco…

Hah! You can even here other people chuckle (including women).

The only women that prefer monogamy are women that are either massively rewarded or punished by a social environment that supports it. Church environments are do not reward and/or punish enough (unless their homeschooled and very seclusive as well) to prevent hypergamy and promiscuity because it's only a single building/social circle. Also a dateable woman is not a unicorn, I believe fastig was answering the "quality woman" part as in "a woman not like those other ones and is of actual 'quality'…

I went through that same hump man. I don't know how much hate RSD gets here, but I sympathize with Tyler/Owen when I began to cold approach because I would get out a "hi" or "whats up" before I bolted. I mean I RAN because my brain was telling me it was flight time. Remember that the "backbone" you speak of is actually a mental muscle that you have to work out, other people can teach you better form, but you have to lift some weight before that even becomes useful. On the conversation point RSD …

Although most won't respect it as a sport, it can be used as a career just like traditional sports. Let's look at a direct comparison. Someone plays an online MMORPG with 1 other player, but doesn't talk much with that person and is the only thing that they do outside of work and self care. If a person who only played soccer with one other person, never had a conversation with them or anyone else, and didn't pursue an actual career, while also not doing anything else the same as above, then you …

Mate96's right, being objective is impossible. While the more experiences you have can give you a clearer picture (definitely better than mine), you can't separate your biases and individual perceptions from your evaluations. I'll keep this info in mind though.

Everyone acts in a way that either pursues pleasure and/or avoids pain, everyone. Human psychology dictates that we are all selfish. The only reason a person cares deeply about another person or a cause is because it benefits them and/or avoids pain consciously or unconsciously. Love is merely a pleasurable chemical response to an individual who acts as a stimuli. As Don Draper eloquently put "What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons".

"There is tremendous variation in women. But I treat them all in a gentlemanly manner. Being nice is a turn on for most women." Lol, the comments section is GOLD.

I agree with AssedM, buying the ticket made you look like you wanted her as much or more than she wanted you. But even after that fuckup you still could've scored. The boyfriend line is a shit test I swear to you. I have gotten it multiple times and succeeded and failed at it. Even when the girls who told me they had a boyfriend and I fucked it up myself, some of my more skilled buddies ended up taking her home.

What helped me the most is cold approaching men and women. Approach women so you can learn how to deal with shit tests and like. Then approach guys so that you know how to hit it off with someone you don't know. Doing both helped me because it taught me that even if I fuck up with this one person, I can just walk away and meet someone else. I view all my friends the same way I view people I meet. If the person I am with makes me feel better about myself while also pushing me to become better the…

Let's start with this: Through what I've read I believe that we are our Minds, the Brain is what gives us all feelings, and the Body gives us our ability to receive stimuli that is interpreted by the brain and sent to "Us/Mind". Being bored is a sign that your brain is in a constant state of hunger for stimuli. ET talks about how we are addicted to thoughts and that most people would rather be in physical pain than to be left alone with their thoughts. This is because people have become obsessed…

So if I understand you right you tell them to "fuck off" because they are giving you shit right? Again you are probably older and more experienced, but in my experience when a woman compares me to someone more successful, she's trying to make me reactionary to make my emotions fluctuate. All solid Alpha's that I've watched brush it off because they view girls who say that as children. Would you ever tell a child to fuck off if he insulted you? I wouldn't, but not because it's not socially accept…

It teaches you how to be "present". So often we live our lives thinking of "last" and "next" that we forget to stay in the now which is the only point in time that we can exist. Staying present in a conversation allows you to read microexpressions, social cues, and the environment better so that you appear and feel more charismatic. It also talks about the pain-body and how not to identify with your emotions which allows you to be in control of your brain and body instead of your mood, circumsta…

Tbh I can't be mad at them, it's an easy way to get money for literally any woman who's a 5/10+ because of the scarcity mindset of the majority of men in the gaming community. There are some women who game because they're legit gamers e.g. C9Hafu (much respect), but there are those who are able to stream because of relative attractiveness. The best method to fix this problem is for these poor bastards to take the redpill and walk away. No money, no streaming.

I don't agree with much of what you've said in your post, but I respect your opinion and I'm sure you've had a lot of personal experience. Personally, the people that I've met that have had Alpha traits helped build me up and encourage me. I believe that leadership traits are included in Alpha traits, so when you are a total and complete "Alpha" you are have leadership traits. While there may be people who have abilities and characteristic of an Alpha who try to put others down, that is a Beta a…

I've done this when I've been in the zone after a lot of opens, but I really need to work on this more. OP, don't you think telling that friend of a friend to fuck off and qualifying yourself breaks frame? Would you have done it differently or did it fit the situation? Not hating, I want to learn.

Even though your getting reference experiences, that isn't what makes you confident. The use of logic does not rid you of emotional stress, adapting to it does. The reason trial by fire works is because your brain adapts to the stress that you put on it (i.e. dating) by releasing more endorphins when your in those situations. This is exactly like when people drink alcohol and talk to women confidently, they can't become that person unless they practice without it.
