I did not mean to offend, so I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that there was decreased sexual enjoyment. I suppose because so many undergo the procedure as babies and have nothing to compare it with. But that is definitely something that should be more widely known. I would hope that knowledge would stop more parents going through with it.

I don't think anyone really believes that everything that comes under the label of feminism is their version of feminism. Yes, there are people who take it to extremes which are very unhelpful, and people who believe wildly crazy things under that label. But I refuse to be bullied out of using it just because some other people use it for things I don't think are okay.

I'm going to choose to believe that the person I responded to was trolling. Mostly I was being rhetorical, I've no doubt that the majority of users here are supportive of men of all kinds. btw I identify as a feminist, and as such support the rights of all people. It sucks that some people choose to be combative rather than inclusive.

err well I think that maybe they arent exactly the same seeing in females the clitoris is removed, which is the pleasure giving part of the organ. Whereas for men, a section of skin is removed that has little to no bearing on sexual enjoyment. They are both absolutely horrible, but I do think they are different things due to the above and also due to the way they are performed. Men often undergo it as infants under hygienic conditions. While the female equivalent is generally done on older child…

Gender isn't mentioned for perpetrators, but I think it would be a great step to recognise that men are raped by both women and men.
