Foreskin Man, meet Vulva GirlI did not mean to offend, so I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that there was decreased sexual enjoyment. I suppose because so many undergo the procedure as babies and have nothing to compare it with. But that is definitely something that should be more widely known. I would hope that knowledge would stop more parents going through with it. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 11:47 PM
Foreskin Man, meet Vulva GirlYes, sorry. I reread my comment and I wasn't particularly clear on that point. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 11:41 PM
Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans ManIt makes me happy to see that so many people are not satisfied with your "scientific fact!" I don't think I can add anything to what they have already said. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 11:35 PM
Foreskin Man, meet Vulva GirlYes, I completely agree. I think I also mentioned in my first comment that there are degrees of both. And both are horrible in any degree. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 11:31 PM
Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans ManI already acknowledged that because this article was focused on the trans issues rather than the issues they face as men, it was not relevant. Another poster brought it up and I commented there. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 11:30 PM
Two Feminist Fallacies: How feminists misunderestimate the Men's Rights movementI can't say thats the sort of feminism that I subscribe to. It sounds rather paranoid to me. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 11:25 PM
| -1 | Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans ManYou are the only person who has successfully identified a legitimate reason for this not being relevant. Thank you. I hadn't thought of that myself. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 09:56 AM |
Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans ManI don't think anyone really believes that everything that comes under the label of feminism is their version of feminism. Yes, there are people who take it to extremes which are very unhelpful, and people who believe wildly crazy things under that label. But I refuse to be bullied out of using it just because some other people use it for things I don't think are okay. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 09:50 AM
Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans ManI'm going to choose to believe that the person I responded to was trolling. Mostly I was being rhetorical, I've no doubt that the majority of users here are supportive of men of all kinds. btw I identify as a feminist, and as such support the rights of all people. It sucks that some people choose to be combative rather than inclusive. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 09:30 AM
Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans ManSo you don't think trans men are really men. Just say it instead of dancing around your prejudice. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 09:17 AM
Circumcision.. Female Equivalence..Why is it so difficult for some ladies to put themselves in our shoes?Well thank you for telling me how I feel....? I happen to believe that all forms of genital manipulation on people unable to consent is wrong. Hell I'm even against piercing babies ears. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 08:15 AM
Eve Bit First, Feminist Blog - There are no words to express how much this makes my blood boil.He characterizes prostitution as a “legitimate” “job” “choice” or defends men who purchase prostitutes. well that one does me in. Yeah, her view is way too narrow. Luckily her opinion isn't gospel. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 08:12 AM
Two Feminist Fallacies: How feminists misunderestimate the Men's Rights movementCan I ask what feminist theory is? | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 08:06 AM
Foreskin Man, meet Vulva Girlerr well I think that maybe they arent exactly the same seeing in females the clitoris is removed, which is the pleasure giving part of the organ. Whereas for men, a section of skin is removed that has little to no bearing on sexual enjoyment. They are both absolutely horrible, but I do think they are different things due to the above and also due to the way they are performed. Men often undergo it as infants under hygienic conditions. While the female equivalent is generally done on older child… | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 07:57 AM
No More Excuses: Change the Definition of Rape"This definition, drafted more than 80 years ago, is problematic for many reasons, chief among them that it excludes victims of forced anal or oral sex, rape with an object, statutory rape, and male rape." Gender isn't mentioned for perpetrators, but I think it would be a great step to recognise that men are raped by both women and men. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 07:45 AM
Ten Things Not to Say to a Trans Manbecause there are many men in the world that are trans-men and I thought this subreddit was meant to be about supporting men and their rights? | /r/MensRights | 30/06/11 07:41 AM
