I read that American Black folks all have some European DNA in them, but I've never heard of large numbers of them having Chinese ancestry. Maybe in places like San Francisco where they would have possibly intermingled but I don't remember there being many places during slavery days where slaves and Chinese would be near each other. I have also heard that bottleneck type events can rapidly cause significant evolutionary changes.

Except for all the violence, non consensual sodomy, and bad food.

The drive for homogeneity is usually stronger though, as logic dictates. It's necessary for things like group cohesion and trust among members of the same tribe. Just a little bit of mixing goes a long way.

You may or may not be surprised by the number of children who will never know who their father is, or the mothers who don't even know. For DNA tests to determine paternity you need the right people to take them. There's sadly (for the children) plenty of situations where a girl sleeps with dudes she doesn't know by name. Also what do you mean when you say "giving it a pass"?

The article is worded to make it sound like some of the older people involved knew and had kept the secret. I'm not arguing in favor of cheating, but in favor of tact in these circumstances. This dude should have known better than to let this get out, just knowing how his mother would be hurt by the revelation. How you could open your mouth like that considering the consequences is beyond me. I think it's beyond him too and he's just to autistic or self centered to think of his poor mother's fee…

What an idiot he snitched his dad out for having an affair and destroyed his whole family lmao. He could've handled that a whole lot better, especially considering that he's a biologist with hopefully some understanding of how genes are passed on. Durr, gee my Dad has a secret grandpa better tell everyone about it destroys family utterly

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
