We've had a couple chats about politics that didn't go very well. Relationship Highlights: There were times this past week my husband was impresse… | /r/RedPillWives | 20/10/24 12:34 AM |
WEEKLY OYS - September 26, 2024Thank you very much for your kind words! I do enjoy watching Japanese husbento videos and will think of this when I watch them. I agree with you that good relationships take a lot of work, but we can build up the marriage skill set over time with dedicated effort. I would describe myself as an idealist in that I think ideals are obtainable - but it takes a lot of pragmatic effort and strategy to get there. | /r/RedPillWives | 04/10/24 02:36 AM

WEEKLY OYS - September 19, 2024Welcome to OYS! I think it's great that you want to be here and hold yourself accountable. Regarding your lowlights for the week - since this is a common issue, perhaps you should start keeping a place where you write these deadlines down? There are sites like Monday that have shared calendars and are designed for teams working on business together. You could both set it as your default webpage when you open your browser or something. Things you do for yourself are super important! It can be so … | /r/RedPillWives | 29/09/24 07:31 PM

WEEKLY OYS - September 19, 2024Thank you, I didn't intend to stop posting but I found myself unable to keep track of the days for awhile there. I should probably set an alert or something on my phone because I do feel better after writing my OYS. I like your first point very much. My husband sometimes talks about "lagging indicators" - things that take awhile to show up after good habits are in place, such as muscle definition taking a few weeks or months of regular workouts to appear. I appreciate your ending question/sugges… | /r/RedPillWives | 25/09/24 08:12 PM

WEEKLY OYS - May 16th 2024Yes he's very good at acknowledging what I do! I'd say it's one of his strengths. The Baldur's Gate 3 video game is a great place to start if you want to play but aren't ready to make commitments! D&D is so much fun. It can be dependent on who your DM is, so if you don't like it, it could be worth trying one more group to see if it was just the people you didn't vibe with. I'd say 90% of the players and DMs I've had over the years have been good. I'm the DM this time around, it's fun. | /r/RedPillWives | 23/05/24 01:50 PM

WEEKLY OYS - April 25th 2024Congrats on your engagement!! That's amazing news, how do you feel?? Going out to eat to celebrate your period is so cute. I started using a menstrual disk a few months ago and I really like it. I've only had a handful of periods in the past few years because of childbirth and breastfeeding so it's been tricky to get back in the habit of it and figure out what products I like. | /r/RedPillWives | 29/04/24 07:35 PM
WEEKLY OYS - April 25th 2024Oh yes, I've read all about that in Gottman's Guide to Women book! My husband and I want to solve conflict in different ways, and we also process our fights differently. I find it easier to let the little stuff go and not be resentful. I have a harder time talking things through when angry. I think I also tend to have a mindset like he should come after me and apologize first and fix it - which is fantasy half the time. If I want it fixed, I have to do my part. Kids definitely gave us a run for … | /r/RedPillWives | 29/04/24 07:29 PM

WEEKLY OYS - April 18th 2024Thank you Pumpkin Muffin. :) I've heard the advice before to not discipline out of anger. I'm not perfect, but I'm way prouder of myself when I successfully refrain. | /r/RedPillWives | 22/04/24 10:28 PM
WEEKLY OYS - April 18th 2024That is a solid parenting tip! Generally he helps clean up messes that he makes. He helped clean up his mess with muffins earlier that day and vacuumed up crumbs. Momma was still in control of herself for that one, thankfully. | /r/RedPillWives | 21/04/24 03:06 PM
