Be careful who you have children with too, even if you choose not to marry. Plenty of professional women in my state are paying bums child support. Ask Halle Berry!

They are not black, they're mixed. They would not exist, nor would they be put on a pedestal if they were black. The "most black men marry black women" narrative is a distraction. Relatively few black men marry (and they're the least likely to stay married), and when they do their spouses get less black as their income and education increases. I think it's a head fake to tell black women to pretend these concerns are overblown. Even among the black men who DO marry, the average black woman is no…

t with him should I ever come to his city, obviously seeking casual sex, while still posting things on Facebook about only exclusively dating & loving black women. Obviously as a white woman he did not see me a This is SOOOOOO common with black male celebrities. They know they can never compete for a diverse female audience against the likes of a Timothy Chamalet, so they know they have to cultivate love and loyalty from a black female audience. And this would be harder to do if they pursue thei…

Trust me, they don't treat those women well either. I was also military adjacent for years and there's a reason why they're more predatory towards young racially diverse women. But older women tend to be harder to manipulate, and as white women get older they also date out of their race *less*. So who will put up with their BS? Women of their own race. They're still NVM
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/11/21 09:23 PM

No, most black men are not married at all. And many of those black women are actually mixed race who identify as black. The data is very clear, your chances of marrying a black man *objectively* have to do with looking LESS black, not more black. So "black women" who tend to get married are disproportionately mixed race or lighter skinned. Stop gaslighting black women with false narratives when the data is very clear: They do not marry and when they do, they are very colorist about who they marr…

I'm glad you healed and you're learning. Vet all men. Pedastalize none. But yes, unfortunately a lot of black men are irreparably damaged by internalized racism. That is not your cross to carry. While living in Europe I'd see the most gorgeous dark skinned black women with all kinds of men (some of the ugly to be honest, but some were definitely hot lol). So in this great big world you have options. Always remember that. And choose your own happiness first.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/11/21 08:54 PM

Nobody is telling black men to stick to their own kind, but when you degrade your race as justification for not sticking to your own kind-that's a problem. But I definitely disagree: people need to stop romanticizing the lives of Asian women. Stifling misogyny and patriarchy is rampant in East Asia. Korean women are leading the charge in fighting back against it.

There is a trend towards MRAs and Pickmeishas pretending that men and women abuse at the same rates. The methods used to evaluate this conclusion have been criticized widely but it's another element to this false narrative: that law enforcement and family court are anti-male.

I had an argument with someone about whether or not this was okay. Her boyfriend does it a lot. He doesn't follow tons of porn stars but he always "likes" pics of female coworkers and people they know in bikinis/thirst traps. It's not like he likes their regular pics, only their sexy pics. It clearly makes her uncomfortable because she said it makes her insecure, but she blames herself for being insecure

Well I certainly never claimed to have resources, I can only reference anecdotal accounts that I've read. I would imagine the outcomes would be similar to that of how adopted children feel, maybe better or worse. Ultimately, I think we all believe a child coming from a loving relationship with mutually invested parents is best. But that simply isn't a reality for many people these days, regardless of how they were conceived. I'd imagine the children of these donors fall on a spectrum of feelings…

I see what you’re saying, and my ambivalence has more to do with my belief that not every man deserves the privilege of having his biological lineage continued for little to no work on his part. Jizzing in a cup is just too easy. However there are adult test tube babies that are perfectly well adjusted and fine with the reality of their birth. Some clinics allow for them to know who their bio father is as well. The sad fact is most women who believe they are having children with a HVM at any giv…

Yes, sex workers smh. I've met terrible men in the military and nice ones. But even the nice ones think it's totally normal to pay a relatively unwilling woman for sex. One of them even referred to it as "sampling the locals". And that is the ONLY value men like them serve. We need to teach women how to listen to them critically and recognize this rhetoric in the men they’re around. They’re both nearly middle-aged incels who no doubt struggled to date who they think they deserve. Like I said, no disrespect to Preach’s wife at all but he knows the white MGTOW community would have a field day with his pairing. The other one seems too socially awkward to sustain a real relationship.

They’re both bitter and ugly. I’m surprised by their popularity but I realize a lot of women look for abusive content to validate their existing low expectations of men and low self esteem. Preach generally hides his wife for a reason: men within his own “community” would clown the shit out of him for that despite the fact they are equally yoked. And I bet he either “dumps” on her privately or is just happy somebody settled with his lame ass. The other one looks like he’d be a predator if he cou…

Yes! The Great Recession humbled a lot of middle class people. Scared the shit out of me because some of my peers with good jobs and young kids found themselves moving in with their parents or as you mentioned, signing up for assistance. The welfare system is incredibly unfair to poor women with children too. Slamming welfare is an automatic red flag for me.

I wouldn’t say poor people have it good but she’s right about the burden of cost being outsized for middle class people IMO. Frankly I don’t even like the term middle class anymore because most of those described as such are 2 paychecks away from destitution just as their working class counterparts are. They live in a nicer cage but it’s still a cage

I think going on record with her feelings would be a good idea, especially if she could communicate with a judge/court privately. I would just worry about retaliation....sigh. Sorry I don’t have better advice but I hope she isn’t too harmed (emotionally) by this. They’re assholes

Is there some way the courts would honor her decision not to go there if she spoke up and said she didn't want to go? I feel terrible for her, and I hope she knows it's not her fault. I wonder if she stopped doing it, would they stop allowing her to go there?

It's both. In addition to the obvious problem with having the account, how would you feel if none of the women your man finds attractive/sexy resemble you? And you know that the quality he finds most attractive appears to be that none of them are your color? It's weird.

You're not letting him get away with it by ignoring him. Trust me. To ignore him and look unbothered (even if you are bothered inside) will cause a bit of narcissistic injury. Your single-minded focus is YOUR hearing and YOUR justice-seeking. This is true. A lot of women compromise on their principles when they get into relationships. I know that it can happen subconsciously too. Then they find themselves in a permanent state of being accommodating and their frustrated by it. That's why it's so important to really believe in these ideas.

It seems a lot of women are catching on to this and deleting the apps. That's why so many bots are on there. It's a struggle for them to keep high engagement patterns for women as they do for men...since we are generally using the apps for different reasons. Nearly every time I hear about a person in a relationship struggling with their SO's addition to dating apps, it's the guy who can't let go of the swiping and hope for a novelty relationship

I get what you're saying. It may be because both religions are seen as European religions and default influences on the culture. Particularly Christianity. So you have denial of the misogyny of both religions coupled with a new element from a third religion, though all of them have the same roots. I can see your point, I guess I just didn't take it that way. I see Christianity as incredibly destructive and pacifying personally, but I will admit it doesn't get the same scrutiny.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/02/21 01:38 PM

This answer is totally unsurprising. When you're in a situation like this, admitting you got the shitty end of the deal could break you. Just smile and nod cuz most wife/moms you know are in the same position.

Cultural differences make it harder to spot certain undesirable attributes in men/people. As a French person I'm sure it was just way easier for you to catch nuances/red flags. That's why I was careful using apps while traveling. Too many men who are losers love foreign women because they can pretend to be normal, at least for a little while...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/02/21 07:47 AM

Let's not be sensitive. If we can rag on the problems with French sexism we can admit a lot of cultural practices from *most* religious groups are also sexist.

Sugaring should be discouraged at all cost. You need only look at some of the posts from young girls who used SA on reddit to see that it's a minefield for a young woman, who may not realize she is in over her head with a man 2-3 times her age. Coercive rape happens, and what's worse if a lot of times they end up not even getting paid sometimes. It's sad.

Because they JUST got together and I doubt they are giving you separate and joint updates on the inner workings of their relationship. It still hurts because we are conditioned to want validation at all cost, even from someone who isn't worthy of doing the validating. You have to unlearn this. Be kind to yourself. Be your own friend. Would you want your friend sulking over a guy like that?

OP this is so true. My neighbor and his wife still do this (they're in their late 60's). Home Economics was a "girl's" class that involved budge balancing and home finance so the expectation was that your husband made the money and you "managed" the house.

Yep. This was a means white men used to assault black women for decades after slavery too. The first white man convicted of raping a black woman was damn near 1960.

What terrifies me is so many of these men are actually married or in long term relationships smh. I have a hard time believing a reasonably educated man doesn't know most women's bodies will change after pregnancy. Did he not consider this before deciding to impregnate a woman THREE times? What an idiot.

Develop your own personal style and be confident in the way you look. If you've ever had to shrink away in embarrassment when suddenly running into people in public because you're not "on", then you are doing something wrong...to yourself. A good friend told me that no matter what, when you step out, you should always be 100% happy with the way you've chosen to present yourself. You have to decide what that look is. I still do grocery runs in sweats though lol. There should be no standard style …

It's my dream tbh. Nearly every married or widowed elder woman I know says maintaining their female friendships or staying on terms with their sisters was the best thing they could have done. Even the good men who stick around tend to die first. And many women say they would not remarry when that happens. So who's left? Your sisters. Your girlfriends. I love seeing older black women in their sorority gear lmao. Maintaining your female friendship circle is absolutely necessary.

I really hope you see it that way because based on what you wrote, if you were my sister I'd be relieved for you. Absolutely relieved. Think of how different your life would be a year from now if you only spent 50% of the energy/money/resources you put into him and invested it in yourself (education, looks, health, happiness, etc). I think you'd be thrilled with yourself at the end of that year.

Right, which is why I said this should have been hashed out a year ago-as her age is an issue. Whether or not its enticing is a personal and circumstantial choice: as rushing for the sake of getting it done at 30 wouldnt necessarily make sense either. I don't know why people think a healthy 45 year old woman is significantly less capable of chasing a baby than a 35 year old. People leave babies in the care of older women all the time.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/02/20 11:22 AM

People are having children later these days, it's hardly unusual. However, she is hitching her hope wagon to the wrong horse. A 46 year old man knows if he want children or not. This should have been hashed out a year ago.

You know what's funny though: a lot of these men never "show up" for that dream woman anyway. Quiet as it's kept, a lot of these men are so low value (in character AND income) they kinda know they aren't worthy of a decent marriage so they aren't trying to get married for real. Research shows, black male marriage rates are nearly as low as the female counterpart. They will knock up a "down ass bitch", and she will be a de facto wife tied to him by their offspring. If he's lucky she will "act rig…

Yes, but this perceived “competition” stems from seeing black women as being just as good as them, if not better. Not “bottom of the barrel”. I disagree. Competition just means you know that person is going after what you also want, so they are a rival. It doesn't speak to how capable or worthy you think they are of getting what you want. And let's be honest, we're all exposed to anti-black beliefs. It was surprisingly common for girls to express this latent racism on social media a few years ag…

Most women are like you. We know this logically but we are socialized to put aside common sense and over value men, over value romantic relationships, and value ourselves according to how we think they see us. I want to say, and I’m sorry if this isn’t the place for it, but it’s MEN and not other non black women who see black women as “the bottom of the barrel”. I'd disagree with this but in the name of solidarity I won't argue too much. An evolved woman will refrain from putting any woman down to lift herself up. Race aside. That goes for the "i'm better looking/thinner/smarter than her" crowd too. Unfortunately many women are not there yet. Personal insecurity and viewing other women as your competi…

A lot of these men espouse standards that they know they do NOT have in real life. These are ideals, not reality for them too. They would be happy to sniff the dirty under where of a so-called fat girl if it gave them sexual access. Yes, men (and people in general) prefer partners who are not overweight. But that is not always the case. And again, this is an *ideal*. Some of these guys are so psychologically damaged from porn that they are actually uncomfortable with "normal" people being naked …

I think this is a great idea tbh. You still have to vet and be discerning but the exposure to a concentrated group/class of people may be well worth it to you. Good luck! A friend of mine purchased a membership to a social club and I know that it's silly to assume you will all of a sudden have this awesome network, but the networking opportunities DID manifest for him, so that 2k per year was worth the money.

I usually use a ghost account to social media stalk and I do it on a different device (I realize I sound crazy) but I was habitually checking the new chick's IG stories and slipped up a few times by using my regular phone because she showed up in my suggestions and from there-it was just habit. Autocorrect made my ppst confusing. I meant to type MALE unemployment is at an all time high, and it is. During economic crisis, EVERYBODY has high unemployment. But for some reason men, specifically young able-bodied men, are increasingly checking out of the workforce even when there is no crisis. And this is what I'm talking about.
