I've seen the way things work too- some guys are inexplicably drawn to women who are inexplicably drawn to douchebags. I've seen guys bitch about that phenomenon because of one woman while ignoring five or six others who just aren't as physically attractive. That's not fair either. Life isn't. The truth is that some women are attracted to alpha males, but a lot of women are simply attracted to men who are confident in their own skin and comfortable with who they are. So she pursued a career and then, at 36, met the love of her life and started trying to get pregnant right away, but she was too old. And now she regrets it, which apparently means she wishes she had settled for someone other than her great love so that she could get knocked up and step away from her career. I hope you hired an attorney. Sure there is some cost involved, but when you consider what's at stake, over $450 a month, hiring an attorney would be well worth it unless your kid is 17 1/2, which it doesn't sound like.

I watched a series of documentaries about this called Where the Boys Aren't. I don't remember it having many facts and figures though. Well, a lot of figures, I guess, but they weren't all dry like this article.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
