Multiple things 1) The height thing is over blown, and OLD seems to reduce dating down to the most shallow parameters. I think at most women would like a man to be taller than them. 2) There are a lot of women shorter than 5'8". You will be fine. 3) I've dated shorter men in my life and my husband of 27 years was 5'7" and it was never an issue. I kinda like shorter men as we are more physically compatible because I'm 5'2" 4) Personality wins over height for me every time.
