This is for real one of the worst movies I’ve seen. Also, I paid to watch it on the cinema so yeah money to the trash basically 🥲

Watching her makes me think about all these incels complaining about women. Afraid of commitment and marriage jokes?, then maybe don’t date? Annoyed that the other girl didn’t make a move?, why don’t you take the initiative? Also, I’m bi and while I don’t mind going Dutch in dates with women, every time I ask a girl out I don’t mind paying. If she likes me and wants to see me again that’s great and if not that’s also okay. Why are men and pickmes like her so fragile to go home crying and complai…

Also not competing against each other is the only way to dismantle the patriarchy. Sorority is the ultimate form of resistance.

Feel bad about not feeling attracted to men that are attracted to me. Then let them and everyone else make me feel bad for “friendzoning” them while all I wanted to do is be their friend and all they wanted to do is fuck me.

To me one of the most important things is paying attention to the way he behaves during disagreements/fights. Is he always playing the victim? Or is he expecting you to fix everything and come up with an apology? What kind of body language does he use? Does he raise his voice or tries to manipulate you? This will determine a lot of things in the relationship.

Oh so he wants to address all porn related issues with better sex education? … LOL He is either delusional, straight up manipulative or both. So called allies are the worst. Run away.

This is so true and important. A lot of us are dealing with unresolved trauma at different extents and predators can sense that from miles away. A lot of these men are not necessarily aware that they want to use your trauma against you but they will do so anyway unless we learn how to spot the signs of early abuse and until we feel entitled to be treated with respect.

I’ve always been bisexual but I believe I am turning into a lesbian by choice. I don’t mean to “choose” my sexuality as I don’t think this is something you can choose but quite frankly I feel safer with women in all ways. I dated women and had a girlfriend in the past and then during the past 5 years I have been in serious relationships with two men, and when I compare these two experiences there is just no point of comparison. Men suck. The worst thing is that because I am bi, I am quite picky …

I’ve experienced this but also the complete opposite. Men who are super sweet with children and want to cuddle and play with them but then they don’t help their wives at all at home, they go around picking up their childrens and their husband’s mess and these men don’t move a finger, they don’t help with school duties and lay all their emotional needs on their female partners and of course they think of themselves as “father of the year” just because he is “nice” to the kids.

These ads are the worst. When I was 19 and quite naive, I had recently left my parents place and was looking for a place to live and saw an ad on a real estate website stating a very low rent for a room in exchange of skill trading. As I was active in the trading community and too young at the time, I thought it meant giving language or guitar lessons. I went there and this guy told me I had to have sex with him whenever he was home. I never felt so disgusted in my life, also I got very scared b…

This is the ultimate red flag. Men with depression will latch onto you as their unique source of happiness. They’ll try to use you as an easy fix for their sadness and we know what that means: free emotional labour, unwillingness to treat their problems through therapy and inability to seek for real solutions to their issues. And the worst one, if you’re not depressed yourself they might drag you down with them if you start getting too emotionally involved. Too risky.

I bet she doesn’t even want that for herself but she still has the audacity to suggest this is a good idea for Afghan women. You can smell the privilege from miles away.

I love this post because this problem goes both ways. Men consume porn and expect women to behave like the women in the trash they are watching but also women are influenced by their porn consumption in many ways. The feminist French writer Virginie Despentes talks a lot about this in her books. She describes these “shared” fantasies amongst women about getting raped or violated somehow, so basically anything a pick me would call a kink. And she explains how this is a product of collective traum…

They are more than intimidated. But this is good, your education and working experience will weed out (not all) but many LVM. Talk about your career, achievements and how proud you are of yourself. You’ve earned it. Insecure men will never be able to sit across the table with a woman like that and they will clear the way for the real HVM to come.

Go to the arcade ! This date serves several purposes. It helps you vet him as well because playing at the arcade can be quite expensive if you wanna stay for a while + dinner, also you’ll get to see if he is competitive in a toxic way, if he can’t stand losing to a woman, etc His reaction after you beat him on a couple games will tell you more than him than 100 dinners! Also it’s super fun ! Good luck 🍀

I think when a man does this, it’s very important not to engage in the same behavior, as complicated as it may feel at the moment. My ex would yell at me whenever we disagreed on something and his body language was really threatening when he got upset. He knew I had experienced severe trauma and I was very sensitive to this and he kept engaging in this behavior despite me asking him not to do it. He would always tell me this is the way he communicates with his family and that it doesn’t mean any…

I have a long term history with anger. I recently realized I had been conditioned to be well behaved, polite, silent and to just basically “turn the other cheek” in most situations as I am not religious myself but I come from a very catholic background and my mother raised me like this. Now in my early thirties I have come to realize that I have a severe anger problem. I started going to therapy for other issues and this came up to the surface unexpectedly along with all the memories of the peop…

It’s scary how accurate this is. I swear my ex would do the exact same, he would low key blame me for everything in our relationship and I would actually feel guilt about it and then decided to apologize for basically nothing. Then I realized he had been socialized to be entitled while I had been socialized to feel guilty and a people pleaser. So I always ended up apologizing for every problem in our relationship and then right after I apologized and he got what he wanted he would love bomb me a…

Bad personal hygiene Loved to cook and thought he was super feminist for cooking for me but 9/10 times he cooked he never cleaned up his mess and I had to do it myself (both when I cooked & when he did) Diminished my comments infront of our friends He yelled to his parents like a brat. Especially to his mother He had no control when drinking and became annoying when he was drunk I would say things, he would ignore me and then repeat the same thing I said to someone else To name a few…

This is a great post. I believe this rule really applies especially when it comes to dating. You cannot build true intimacy with someone via text messages and you don’t want to date someone who needs to be in virtual contact with you 24/7. Excessive texting falls into the low value interactions category for me.

Absolutely. This is easily said but in reality friendships especially past your 30s are very difficult to hold on to. But it is important to be aware of the fact that letting your emotional needs lay on one person is always dangerous. Whether it’s a partner, a parent, a sibling or a close friend. It’s like going on a trip and keeping all your money, IDs and passport in the same bag. If you lose that bag, you’ll lose everything.

I really appreciate that you brought this up because it is so important to understand and internalize why sometimes we desperately cling on to men that don’t deserve us or that aren’t good enough for us. You put it in a very clear sentence: because our emotional needs aren’t being met. Sometimes our partners become that “safe” emotional zone that keeps you afloat but it shouldn’t have to be like that. We should always dare to venture beyond romantic relationships and aim to investing more time a…

For me the giving birth part is almost inconceivable. I look forward to being a mother once I’m ready but I really feel completely disconnected to pregnancy and childbirth. And this is a conversation I’ve had plenty of times with LVMs and pickmes trying to push me into thinking that pregnancy is this beautiful journey. And don’t get me wrong, that might be the case for some women but not for me. Not to mention, yes, the fear of having a boy and watch him grow up and maybe develop some toxic trai…

Yes!. It’s like connecting at a deeper level and sharing fears and vulnerabilities makes them feel fragile and they don’t like the sensation as they’re not used to it. I also think this is why they put so much emotional weight on us, because they literally have no one to talk to and most of them refuse going to therapy so they just keep everything for themselves and dump it on the first woman that enters their lives.

Yes this is true and sadly we’ve been conditioned to think that way. I work with kids occasionally and sometimes I hear the little girls interacting in the same way. It often comes from their mothers or watching their family interactions but it is frightening.

Yes this is true and a very interesting remark. I’ve also noticed establishing clear boundaries since the beginning and being consistent with them will most likely scare off men with predatory behavior
