Again, having the right is not the same as the right being respected/not violated. The Declaration of Independence recognized the inherent RIGHT to liberty. The Declaration of Independence did not guarantee that liberty would not be violated. You can put your wife in a cage. It doesn't change what rights she has, if you believe her rights to be inalienable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 07:25 AM

It depends on your perspective. The US Declaration of Independence says that people have inherent inalienable rights. The rights aren't granted by people, or taken away by people. Those rights can be violated by people. In that view, women have rights whether you choose to violate those rights or not.

I thought you were describing being informed. they said they needed both men and women to be fulfilled. Edit, since you've blocked me immediately after responding... (a violation of the sub rules) I was asking questions because your original comment did not in any way imply that they made a monogamous commitment. Don't worry, I promise that I regret asking you anything.

Is there a reason you're characterizing them as "using their sexuality" instead of just being honest about it?

What does this have to do with Bonnie Blue?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 03:01 AM

That's not what you just referenced. women constantly say, with the same lack of context you just mentioned, that pretty much every man will be more successful IRL than he is online
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 03:00 AM
1

Lol, you don't need a reason why the data you are collecting is connected to the claim you are trying to prove with said data... OK! Of course men will be more successful in real life. The gender ration in real life is 1:1. The gender ratio on dating sites is 2:1 at best.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:56 AM

But you are not explaining how being ghosted or rejected by online dating matches is evidence of their pickiness. Because you have absolutely no clue why they are rejecting/ghosting you before a first date.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:51 AM

I understand that you disagree with me. But I have absolutely no clue why, because you won't explain it.

What is Bonnie Blue competition for?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:35 AM
1

The bottom line is that if women in general only become extremely picky online, I should see far different results IRL. Agreed? I am specifically and repeatedly saying that I have absolutely zero clue why you think whatever "results" you get have any relationship to women's "pickiness." Women who are not picky match with more men, but meet fewer men, because they settle quickly. That means they reject/ghost more men. I do not understand why you would think it would be the opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:34 AM

Your claim is that there is ONLY ONE reason why women oppose them. The only reason why (many) women oppose them is due to threat of intrasexual competition
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:29 AM
2

Are you for real?? Woman 1 goes on 5 first dates. She decides that one of them is good enough to be her boyfriend! She rejects the 4 other men she went on dates with, and rejects or ghosts her other 95 matches that she didn't have a chance to meet. Woman 2 goes on 49 first dates. She doesn't think any of these men are good enough for her. She goes back to her matches to schedule date number 50. You are saying that woman 1 is more picky than woman 2?!?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:25 AM
1

...and you don't think there are religious or stupid women?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:21 AM
2

But the second person is going on 50 first dates before picking someone to date...
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:19 AM
2

Great, why do you think rejection/ghosting is evidence of pickiness?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:12 AM
3

So if that's true, let's say I match with 100 women online, and I get ghosted by Again, I have no clue why you think ghosting is evidence of pickiness!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:07 AM
3

Reject OR ghost? You said you're only tracking ghosting. And what is the theory? A woman online who is NOT picky will swipe right on a ton of people, and get a ton of messages, and will presumably be overwhelmed talking to people, right?

1

What about the men who oppose these things?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 01:33 AM

What does that have to do with ghosting?

In this case, "bettering" oneself would be... lying about being bi?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/25 11:39 PM

l've dated bi men, but the openly bi men I've dated have been much more promiscuous/non-monogamous than the straight men I've dated. It's not for everyone. I wonder if the social cost of identifying as a bi man is only worth it if you intend to make use of it...

But let's say that there's a pattern of (poorly paid) male shift managers at fast food restaurants sexually harassing their young female (worse paid) staff members. You'd say that's not a gender issue at all?

Passivity and agreeableness can destroy a marriage. Can he say no to his mother when she comes over unannounced? Reorganizes their home? Violates their rules for the kids? Demands all holidays? Can he say no to his boss when he takes advantage of him? Assigns him all the overtime? Cancels their vacation? Expects him to do something unsafe? Can he say no to the coworker who has a crush on him? Block her on social media when she's inappropriate? Report her to HR if she is in appropriate at work?

Women burn through their 20s in short term relationships or casual flings Do they? I haven't been seeing any data that suggests that most women are having a lot of sex with different people in their 20s. Where is this coming from?

Freedom IS an outcome that we care about and take collective action to support. Again, there are a lot of different potential ways to define success and value. You clearly have your highest priority. But it's inappropriate to pretend it's universal.

but ultimately everything is judged in light of Darwinian competition. No, that's a subjective choice. Some societies continue, some societies do not continue. You can choose to interpret continuing as the measure of success. Or not. The US literally has a state with the motto, "Live Free or Die." The rest of the quote is, "Death is not the worst of evils." There is no consensus about how societies should ultimately be judged.

The point is that the 'whatever happens, happens' part is not true. "Not true" meaning what? Decreases in population are "true." People having less sex and fewer kids is "true." Are you defining "true" as "safe?" Why??

The main underlying current of most Western women's opinion on all of this is that everyone should choose for themselves, and whatever happens, happens. As opposed to...? It's pretty unusual for people, and especially men, to make social choices for altruistic reasons. Most men don't think, "should old people be socially isolated?" and then volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Most men don't think, "should children be unsupported?" and then volunteer for tutoring programs. Men aren't having sex for ch…

Do you have the same criteria for sharing every activity in your life? If someone likes chess, they are likely to play chess with two types of people: 1- Strangers that are likely to be a "good game." In this metaphor, skill at chess = good looks/charisma. 2- People they know who may not be masters at chess, but playing chess with them is fun and adds to their overall friendships. Who are they not likely to play chess with? Strangers that they have no reason to think will be fun to play chess wi…

Think of it like friendship... Women tend to have and make more friends. I don't think that's says anything about how many friends men should have, or the types of friends men should have. But I'm also not surprised that men have fewer friends. If a man, or anyone, said it was more validating to make new casual friends on vacation than to have long-term deep friendships, I'd think they were a weirdo. I say that even though I personally enjoy short-term casual friendships made on vacation.

Strippers also aren't sex workers And that can be your position, but Wikipedia disagrees with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 01:13 PM

I do consider strippers and Hooters servers sex workers. And there's no "trusting" a man to not talk to their server at Hooters.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 12:03 PM
2

I'm not the person you're asking, but this seems like a common distinction in most relationships? Establishment that sells food and drinks- OK Establishment that sells food and drinks with interactions with sex workers- not OK Obviously there are a ton of relationships where it's fine go to strip clubs/Hooters, and even some where it's not OK to go out drinking without a partner. But this seems like a rational line for people to draw in their relationships.

But this is one of the fundamental aspects of legal marriage... So it seems weird to get married at all if you aren't OK with the potential of alimony (or worried enough to get a prenup or postnup). There isn't much about marriage that can't be accomplished another way. This is one of the only ones.

How is it a lemon problem? This seems like an easy thing to talk about with women you're getting to know.... This isn't exactly something that women are hiding. They're talking about how "sacred" it is. And there are soooo many men who do not give a shit about this.

No, we're just in a time and place where we live in a diverse society and have to put our big boy pants on and actively decide what we personally want/will accept in relationships instead of lazily relying on societal norms to pressure everyone to act one specific way. There are people like Mike Pence, who won't have work dinners with women because he thinks it's inappropriate. There are other people in open relationships who are fine with their spouse going to orgies. If you don't want to date …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/25 09:28 PM

Because the financial decisions you make in a marriage impact someone's financial standing for the rest of their life. If one partner stops working to be a stay at home partner, they are not staying professionally competitive, they are not getting promotions, they are not vested in a pension, etc. When you get divorced, you can find another person to be your spouse. A non-working partner cannot recover the years lost not working. They didn't just lose the time they were with you, they lose money…

We're talking about a single man who spends time going to Hooters and says that his tradition of going to Hooters with his boys is "sacred." If one of my female friends dated this guy and complained about him going to Hooters... I'd tell her to dump him or get over it! I would not date Hooter's guy in the first place, but it's ridiculous to knowingly date Hooter's guy and complain about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/25 09:12 PM

It’d be asinine to tell women “well they were doing it when they were single so why would they stop for you” Would it? I'm fully aware that strip clubs and Hooters are full of married guys. If I met a guy who openly spent his time at strip club and Hooters... I definitely would not assume he'd stop just because his relationship status changed!

/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/25 05:44 PM

At least for men it takes effort and skill or very good looks to being able to hook up with women so it’s an ego boost It's weird that women get the reputation for disliking sex, when it is men who talk about it only having value as an "achievement."

No, that is not what you are asking. Why must girls nights include places that are known for flirting, hooking up, etc? Unless you live under a rock, you know that's not the case. Women have girls nights and trips that don't include these places.

I'd say that choosing a business owned by an underrepresented group is not necessarily sexist or racist. It wouldn't be sexist to hire a female plumber to promote diversity in the trades, and it wouldn't be sexist to go to a male massage therapist to promote diversity in that industry. If an industry is overwhelmingly dominated by a specific group for no reason, it seems questionable to go out of your way to reinforce that imbalance.
