" I shouldn’t have to keep a pocket-knife and pepper spray with me whenever I leave my dorm, just to feel a little safer." You don't have to.While by no means do I condone carrying knives under this mentality, to protect yourself from all men by carrying a knife is a truly dangerous mentality to have. As you someone may get stab-happy for the first run in with a man in a poorly-lit environment. I can however, kind of see where she is coming from. I went to Afghanistan in 2009, and developed some level of PTSD. In turn, I do carry a knife with me very frequently. It is not the fear that some insurgent is going pop up around the corner… | /r/MensRights | 15/02/13 05:53 AM
You're an $80k/yr. web designer because we say so!Jesus Christ that's absolutely insane...what a wonderful world we live in. Thanks for the info, I'll chalk it up for another reason among many to sign pre-nup. | /r/MensRights | 09/12/12 12:35 AM
You're an $80k/yr. web designer because we say so!Excuse my ignorance, couldn't your tax forms show you have not made nearly that amount of money? To make 80k a year would infer you are on salary, when your tax forms (I'm not from the US, I dont know what you call them there) will contradict what that lawyer is saying? | /r/MensRights | 08/12/12 05:34 PM
girlfriend stopped taking her birth control without my knowledge, got pregnant, and won't abort the baby. guys I'm 20 years old and about to become a father and there is nothing I can do about it.Foreign legion apparently teaches you to speak french, so there is one less step. | 2 | Found this poster in my uni today.I've seen a couple of these and they are all pretty much centred around that gender role and 'Don't be THAT guy'. There may be others, I just haven't seen them yet. | /r/MensRights | 20/03/12 06:13 PM
Found this poster in my uni today.I was in the hospital, there was a picture with a drunk woman walking with her arm around a guy(to imply she couldn't walk). The caption read, "Just because you are helping her, doesn't mean you can help yourself". | /r/MensRights | 20/03/12 06:12 PM
