She really could t understand what I was doing, some people have a hard time understanding a non linear career path. But being very frugal, patient, lots of research, and a little help I make 3x what she does... so that is the best reward.

Why? I have no interest and there is a lease.

I was fortunate that the $60k job was with a boss that showed me how to develop real estate and build one’s own company from the ground up. It takes a while, started with a duplex I lived in, to a 4 family (I also lived in). Finally I was able to acquire larger properties. I’ve found this to be the easiest path to independent wealth for me.

I’ve never dated anyone with kids. That situation sounds like trouble

No she would not, I have no interest in communicating with her ever again. Each property is its own llc and I am not the property manager... I have no reason to go there. The property was more or less a swap with someone also in my line of work that didn’t have interest in updating a lot of recommendations from his insurance company and he knew the building needed all new plumbing.

Sadly he should probably move on from this woman. I was in a situation that was reversed, I was in between careers & making about $60k (had recently moved to my exes city), she had an established job making about $200k a year. We didn’t live together, I actually owned my own house (was fortune that the house I moved from in another city sold for a sizable profit) & was living a very frugal life while I established myself in a new city. My ex, however, wanted me to pay for everything, literally e…

Or they are the single ones with serious issues that are extreme jealous of their married/coupled friends and have to make up an excuse that “all men are awful” to justify their loneliness. I’ve seen this to be the thing with 30 something single ladies in Boston since I moved here for work, they talk shit about their married friends but at night cry themselves to sleep wishing they had what their friends had. It is sad but they have to help themselves first before they will be willing to accept …

She is sexist, plain and simple and if we as a culture are seeking equality then her comments and behavior are unacceptable. She should apologize, which is exactly what she would want if someone of the opposite sex offended her. But instead she will get defensive and act just like an old racist would...

I know right? Whenever I visit Boston I find It so silly that no one wants to talk to one other but they want to be seen drinking at a bar. So strange from SF or Seattle or NYC or Asia or really any other city I have worked in

Well we raise women thinking they are all a catch or a princess so they have ridiculously outrageous standards given their own background/appearance/etc. not to mention we promote obesity in women but shame it in men. The older I get and the more money I find myself with the less interested I am in women and ironically they now harass me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
