Practically speaking, what's a man supposed to even do about this?

Just the latest episode in the documentary series, "Only idiots get married."

“‘You know, when I first saw you I thought you were cute,’” Coming from a girl that crazy, that's a threat.

When I was younger, I thought I was a great judge of women because I felt that I could quickly tell if a girl was crazy or not. There were two problems with that: Anyone can tell if a girl is crazy. It's not a subtle thing. Sanity is not the only measure for woman's potential as an LTR. This is a great list of those other red flags. I wish I could have seen this post when I was younger, instead of having to figure it out the hard way.

Women are definitely capable of gas lighting themselves.

Could you give an example of a time urgent situation and dealing with it?

This is definitely a concept I've run into while reflecting on past LTRs. How does a man accurately measure a female's worth as a partner when that woman is doing the chameleon thing? I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. The best answer I've come up with is patience, and giving time for the chameleon to show her true colors.

This is so fucking accurate. An excellent reminder of why relationships require being at the top of your game.

There are a whole lot of benefits to working out. You look better, you feel better, moving around is easier, just this general feeling of physical greatness. But to me, working out buffed my confidence in an indirect manner. I took this disappointing aspect of myself, my physical fitness, and turned it into something I was proud of. It wasn't really the working out that gave me confidence, it was becoming a person that I am proud to be. Working out was just a part of it.

I'd love to see the FR. I can't really give advice on getting into state for a night of cold approaches because I haven't done that in two years. My current life situation doesn't really allow it, so I have to rely on OKC and warm approaches/day game to meet girls.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that you're using IDGAF to justify bad plays. I-don't-give-a-fuck doesn't mean "why should I do anything, I don't care what's the point." It means "I'm going to do what I feel is right, fuck anything that's in my way."

Hinting is for pussies or passive-aggressive bitches. If you want a relationship, you communicate that straight up. The means by which you express that to her have to come from you, so it's expressed in your own personal style.

testmypatience pretty much nailed it but I want to re-iterate Women don't want a guy who is always agreeing with her It sounds like right now, you're in that early stage of developmental flirting where you're constantly trying to figure out the "right" thing to say to a girl. The classic example is: Girl: Where do you want to eat? Guy: I don't know, where do you want to eat? The guy has this subservient attitude hoping that, if he is able to serve and please the girl best as possible, then she w…

They think they can advise men about women because they are women, but what they say they want and what they do respond to are two different things and they don't admit that to themselves. So more often than not, they simply give bad advice. Everyone eats, but if you want to know how how to cook, you ask a chef.

Using negs to make fun of PUA is like using almanacs to make fun of meteorology.

I'm not sure how you connect constant swearing or backwards-head-nodding to PUA culture. Furthermore, neither of those are inherently negative. Especially the head-nodding. You are literally condemning a popular form of greeting. Pea-cocking? Also not negative. In fact, none of those are at all inherent to PUA culture, either. Frat bros have been around longer than PUA. And just cause they're frat bros, doesn't mean they are inherently bad people. I think your metaphor about your denigration is …

Alright. I haven't read the other comments, I'm probably not gonna see any responses to this for a week, and I don't really know what's going on. I have a lot of papers to grade and have to bounce, but here's what I thought reading your shit. I hate a lot of things. I hate homophobes. I hate super religious people. I hate how my car has died on me twice in the last 6 months. I hate that the weight room was really crowded today. I can't change any of these things, so I learn to live with it. Read…

This happened to me at the pool once. The girl left, and I sat there wondering what would have happened if I said anything. A month later, she started working the same shift I do. Lucky me. She got my number and I f-closed that night. So fucking approach her.

I'm more into the online dating game because of time constraints in my life. For the last few months, I was on a spree, but I just hit a freezing cold streak. I don't really agree with the push-through style. I play a lot of video games, and whenever I hit a slump there, I take a break, do some other stuff, and let myself reset mentally.

The very idea that a woman who is drunk and who consents to sleep with a (probably similarly drunk) man can automatically assume rape is yet another example of the way in which women are granted the right to abandon responsibility for their actions when it suits them. Very well said.
