Or, and this is a thought, the modern world is just more accommodating towards girls right now. My friend growing up was raised by a single father who was a country redneck and his daughter was the go it alone do it yourselfer. She didn't care for the same things their dad did and so she would always be reading books while they'd go out four wheeling or shooting. No it doesn't. Most people don't give a shit about weed, but you can't fucking say that at work. An idea being establishment doesn't mean it's even the majority opinion. It just makes it entrenched. And even if you are right and 51% of women are behind it, "there are no rational women," is both mathematically unfounded and sexist as hell to say. Ironic in an "egalitarian" subreddit.

That's simplistic. I live in an area dominated by far right Christians, but having grown up in the church, I know half of them don't believe that shit.
