Victim-blaming goes both ways. Don't say such things.

Yes, exactly. It's best to say something now, start therapy (even just briefly, as a therapist will help you work through this and back you up on your experience. I know choosing a therapist is a shot in the dark though, I know very well the fear of not being believed), tell your wife, pursue legal action if you can and are comfortable doing so. You deserve to be listened to and believed, you should be met with empathy.

Lastly, I don't seek to have the last word because I don't need the last word to be right. It's prideful to think the past word wins and in my experience it is those who claim "you just want the last word" of someone, are in fact the ones wanting the last word (projection)

I responded because I have every right to do so and rebuke you for presuming to know what I'm like. Making baseless judgment in response to someone calling out another on a false generalization that shows prejudice and contempt for one particular group of people is manipulative as you don't want to be held accountable for your prejudiced comment (saying women are illogical and refuse to take accountability is just as prejudiced as a misandrist saying men are selfish and lazy and both statements …

I'm not one of those people. Regardless, don't presume to know what I'm like when you don't know me. You made a comment saying women are illogical and refuse/fail to take accountability, a claim that is a generalization. You claim I used straw man fallacy yet you first reduced to fallacy.

Calling a spade a spade is not name calling. It's describing. Calling all women illogical is name-calling.

I never expressed hatred for men. I do not hate men. I hate evil people regardless of their gender or other aspects. I also hate it when people think they are right to assume what I believe and think when they don't know me or when they assume I have some narrative that I do not have nor was going for nor pushing a particular narrative. Such men (sexually predatory men and pedophiles) will always take action to find/gain access to children and images of children and child sexual abuse material (…

Gluten free food can be hard to come by too can't it? IDK much about that as I'm not celiac but I imagine it's not as common and accessible as regular food products.

Well, that one is tricky. What if she's denied food stamps or TANF or other welfare programs even though she needs it for her kid and herself or she's hesitant and afraid to because of the stigma and is afraid people will think that if she needs more support then she shouldn't have custody of her child anymore (there's people who think if you have any disability then you shouldn't have a child and child should be taken away if you have a child while disabled) or what if she's even more afraid to…

Hitting a child is not biblical. She should not be around children and should be imprisoned for a long time. Heartbreaking, that poor boy...💔

I think it's a slippery slope. Say a mother uses the card on things for her child that the child needs or wants but the rules are that those certain things are not approved uses? Say the mother can only afford rent using the child support card because the only job she could get doesn't pay enough or because she's disabled so she and her child don't have much to live on (with disability benefits you can only have a certain amount of money in the bank so you can really save up a lot and your if no…

Personally I believe they know. How can you not know? It doesn't take doing what they are doing to know that evil men exist, will find this stuff, and commit their evil. If someone does this to their child (whether that be mother or father, daughter or son {boys can be victims too}) the parent(s) involved should be imprisoned for life and all such men be deeply investigated and put to death for their evil.

Having differently wired brains does not mean men are consistently and thoroughly logical and take full accountability and women are illogical emotional, fools incapable of holding themselves accountable for their wrongs. That is a foolish, morally wrong, incorrect and reductionist claim. I'm a Gen Z woman, a woman of faith...and I hold myself accountable for my actions, I may not be smart (I have dyscalculia and undiagnosed ADHD) but I'm not illogical. Your comments are simply sexist and misogy…

The parents are just as evil when they know evil men are viewing images of her child and demanding more of it and likely may use AI to edit such photos (you know what I mean). Such evil men should be put to death and the parents imprisoned for life.

To shame men who think it matters. Which it does. I don't want a relationship with a man who is promiscuous. I only have a problem with double standards. If a man says he can't possibly consider giving a promiscuous woman a chance there's nothing wrong with that, in fact it's quite reasonable.

What do you mean? I thought a parenting plan was a contracted arrangement of expectations for how to co-parent, at least that's what I heard it was. Either that was wrong or I was misunderstanding it.
/r/MensRights03/06/23 06:28 PM

When it comes to abuse, there's only one side of the story. It's called the truth. This isn't a relationship challenge where there's two valid perspectives, experiences, and "stories".

Imagine you're being abused and so are your children. You seek help but people don't believe you and refuse to help you because they don't see evidence of the reality you experience at home with your abuser. Along with that they shame you for reacting to the abuse which is not your fault because abuse will activate your nervous system response FFF fight flight freeze response. He and the children are being abused you fool. How dare you shame a victim of abuse!? The only one who should be ashamed is the abuser.
/r/MensRights03/06/23 04:23 PM

No, he shouldn't do a parenting plan. SHE'S AN ABUSER. She shouldn't have any access to the children if she's abusing them. You can't co-parent with an abuser and an abuser should have no part in a child's life.
/r/MensRights03/06/23 04:18 PM

Yes, I forgot to add that. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN WITH YOUR ABUSER.

Get you children and leave and get a restraining & protection order against her. Look, I know it's not easy, I've been in an abusive relationship before myself but your children are depending on you to make the brave choice, the right choice. You have to leave with them. Take what you and your children can and leave. Don't go from one extreme to the other. A mother has every right to be upset that her child is not receiving child support. It's a problem when a mother whines that she isn't getting the child support (complaining as if the money is for her is a red flag). Also, be careful about making generalizations about single mothers and making assumptions.

/r/MensRights26/05/23 03:46 PM

No, he was "elevated" because he denied the numerous occurrence of evil (saying that children imagined being sexually abused).

Society has a disillusioned view of physical appearance in general and it's affected people's view of themselves and their self-esteem. I mean, is there anyone who didn't grow up thinking they're ugly when they're not?
/r/MensRights22/05/23 01:42 PM

Both should have reasonable standards. If you're an able-bodied healthy woman, you shouldn't expect that a man wait on you hand and foot (being the breadwinner and cooking, cleaning, yardwork, laundry, basically everything) and doing nothing of value yourself. If you're an able-bodied healthy man, you shouldn't expect that a women cater to you and do everything while you do nothing value.

Woman here. Looks do matter. More to some than others, you know, expecting model-level looks which is shallow. Also, people will naturally think well of good-looking people, believing them to be kind and honorable people, until experience and close interaction proves otherwise. But as for red flags, unless you know the red flags and are not highly vulnerable to manipulation and abuse due to past trauma, you're going to be totally blind to them especially when you're being manipulated into furthe…

Also equality in rights doesn't magically make inequality in nature go away. Women more are prone to illness and poor health than men. Women are naturally physically weaker. Most women aren't capable of fighting.

What if you or any other man protested a draft and refused to go to war and the government denied him his right to vote because he didn't consent to service in war? Such a thing should happen to a man or a woman and neither should be forced to serve in war "on the battlefield". There's other ways to serve a war effort.
/r/MensRights21/05/23 10:29 AM
-1

I'm against drafting and I don't believe anyone is exempt from responsibility and fulfilling one's responsibility will look different, in wars past, women took up the jobs men did while at war because it was needed to sustain the war effort. It should be their choice to serve in that way. If they chose to go to war, I'd be worried and would not want them to die. I would however try to persuade them not to serve in a war, especially if it was unjustified war. Also, keep in mind, I have certain be…

What if that woman was the your mother, or mother of your children, or your sister, or daughter? Would you want her, unable to fight, to die in war? You'd want a woman who would not survive warfare due to illness, weakness, and/or disability to be endangered and killed just because of your selfish belief that she should have the same responsibilities, duties, and requirements as you?
/r/MensRights21/05/23 10:11 AM
-6

Well, I personally am against the draft in general. People should not be forced into war against their will. It should be a choice. Instead of drafts, it would be best to use persuasion and education for people to come to their own conclusions about serving in war. Most will (hopefully) defend their own nation should the need arise but defending other in need is less assured which is why the cultivation of morality should occur so that when a nation sees injustice being committed anywhere in the…

Yes, but also the feminist majority of women played themselves by allowing men to claim to be women (transgenders).
/r/MensRights21/05/23 09:47 AM
-9

Also another issue with that is, say women were drafted...what happens if a woman is unfit to serve in the military and engage in combat? Should she be denied her right to vote just because she's not able to fight?
/r/MensRights21/05/23 09:45 AM

That and other reasons are why I'm egalitarian rather than feminist.
/r/MensRights21/05/23 09:43 AM
-9

The right to vote is inherent because it's a human right (whether you serve in the military/go to war or not). However since it's also a privilege, if you're a criminal (history of minor crime or if you ever commit major crime), you shouldn't get a vote.

"They also like to leave out that even if she left him, he had to pay her living expenses until she re-married so, potentially a lifetime. But yeah, they don't like to talk about that shit." Well, personally I don't think that's right except in the case of abuse, and going both ways (woman abused man, she pays long-term compensation for the damage done)
/r/MensRights21/05/23 09:32 AM

I think it was equality in the beginning. Women voting, financial freedom, and the protection of women (example: marital rape being criminalized).

I have no problem washing the laundry but I need someone to carry it to the washer and carry it back to fold when it's out of the dryer (got chronic pain, exhaustion, and generalized muscle weakness due to vitamin deficiencies, an autoimmune condition, and fibromyalgia).

Women at the bottom are very much uninvolved in handling the reins of the movement. YES! and even more so if you don't align with their narratives and ideal of who you should be (example: being a homemaker and mother, pro-life, against sexual "freedom" (irresponsibility more like), devout Christian, etc).

Have you tried therapy if you can get it? I know therapy would help me (I'm 22, a woman, single mother, experienced psychological/mental/emotional/verbal abuse) I just can't afford it. Got the same problem as you, heck even when alone I don't cry even when I feel the need to.

sighs This is somewhat relatable...See, I ended up in an abusive relationship due to being vulnerable as a result of trauma...I felt unloved and ignored and rejected growing up so naturally I longed to be in a relationship with someone who treated me well (didn't yell at me, cared about my feelings, thought well of me, was kind to me, and paid me attention rather than being emotionally neglecting to me). Some are physically aggressive, especially if they're abusive women.
/r/MensRights20/05/23 12:16 PM
1

Yes, and then make victims of abuse are expected to fight back as if they won't be painted as the abuser, much less think they have a right to fight back. When you're being abused, you think you deserve to be mistreated so you don't fight back and in the event you do (given that being abused will make you reactive) you'll feel ashamed for your reaction to the abuse, especially when the abuser uses the reactive abuse tactic of saying that your reaction makes you the abuser.
/r/MensRights20/05/23 12:13 PM

I can't say whether one is more aggressive than the other nor can I speak for all women but if by aggression you mean having feelings of rage and acting on them in any way then, yes women can be aggressive like men can be aggressive.

While I was never a radical feminist, I mistakenly thought biblical feminism was a real thing. Now while the Scriptures depict women in business (Lydia who worked with purple dye) or Deborah the prophetess or Jael who I am named after and other women in an empowered and empowering manner, I shouldn't associate with feminism because of the corrupt connections it has. I didn't know that at all, I have seen a clip of some guy saying he wants to save his first kiss for a special girl when he's ready (which I think is so sweet and wholesome) but on of the judges, Katy Perry I think, tricked him and stole that from him. On stage he hid his displeasure but he later commented that he was immediately uncomfortable. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It's agonizing to be accused of something you didn't do or thought as something you aren't at all. I wish I knew how to help but I don't. If one spouse is an adulterer and is deceitful, they shouldn't have primary custody of the children. The parent of good character should have full or primary custody of the children. In the case of abuse, the abuser (whether they be man or woman) should pay child support (and be more than half, preferably nearly all of the abusers income) and have their parental rights terminated.
