There are slightly more risks than I expected - Theres slight risks of bone deposition, but from what I can tell, they seem practically completely safe. I think its also important to consider the impacts going into puberty would have on a trans child's mental health, in comparison to the very minor risks of puberty blockers.

While I could potentially be wrong here, i believe puberty blockers don't have any long lasting effects. So if someone takes them then decides that they want to stay the same sex or their dysphoria disappears, they can go off them and experience a normal (albeit delayed) puberty.
