You're better off investing in index funds rather than picking stocks if you're going long, which is what you're advising. The returns are going to most likely be better unless you get lucky and the risk is magnitudes lower. If you're so focused on investing in stocks that pay dividends, there are index funds for that. Personally, my long positions are in S&P 500 and Russell 1000 index funds.

Yeah, you can definitely get plates that are well above your grade without money. The only things you need are game and a good physique. Genetics are a factor always, but I'm not going to get into that. If you think you absolutely need money and status to shoot above your own looks, you severely lack confidence or your game is awful. This is a rough read. I'm guessing English isn't your first language. No, you don't need money. It helps, but you certainly don't need it.
