I'm old enough to remember when it was OK to compliment coworkers and nobody thought anything of it. People were much more affectionate towards friends and colleagues in the workplace and elsewhere - hugs and kisses, all platonic. Where did this shooting happen? I'd be interested to read about something like that. As for this situation, I know women get away with things and can easily claim to be a victim, but there was a witness here along with a stab wound and a bloody knife, so it seems hard to try to pussy out of that situation.

Women can often say, "I need to go pick up my kid" and leave work. By hook or by crook, that squeezes more out of a paycheck... I've even overheard a woman at work tell someone on the phone as much, thinking no one could hear her, then take off for the rest of the day. It's never questioned. Do you really think that security guards are going to defer to some federal law (which you did not specifically cite, anyway) when they are licensed by the state they are working in? Both 'sides' have been exactly the same for decades until Trump came along. That is, they were both corporate globalists willing to sell out the people anytime they could.
