I don't get then either. Age and looks are not tightly tied together. I've mistaken a middle schooler for being college age and mistaken someone in college as being a middle schooler. For half of my 20s people thought I was in high school. How can someone say a certain age is the most attractive when there is so much difference in looks at almost any age? I get someone 50 won't look like someone 20, but I've met enough people legally old enough to drink who look like they aren't that anyone who …

I have no issue dismissing meaningless doctorates. Edit: I'm not saying all the degrees are worthless. Some are, and that includes some that do require work to obtain. A lot of it depends not on the area of knowledge but the University granting the degree.

No. Not when consensual sex counts as a crime due to arbitrary age limits

See if you can withdraw your data and file a complaint you weren't warned deception was being used (they should tell you even if they don't say what the deception is), that you weren't told the deception immediately after the test was done and told in person so you could ask questions, and that you weren't given a chance to consent to your data being used after being told the full point of the study. Deception is common in studies but what they did here was still an ethics violation of how decep…

She should lose the ability to ever testify to a rape case again. Abuse the system? Lose access to the legal system!

No, it's bullshit. For example female privilege to not be punished as harshly for their crimes. Privilege is just a new name for the no I have it worse game. And the truth is that anyone who can play that game cannot win it.

And yet when the rapist is a male, he doesn't get custody and in many states is outright banned.

Why not do both. I've moped out of similar situations for better but also think that those situations shouldn't exist and thus resist all maternity and related perks. Play the game that exists but also do ones small part to change the rules.

Your son is guilty of the only crime that matters, pissing off a female.
